A question. I’ve been limited in my Asterisk choices because they are designed for humanoid bodies. But the passive ability in my Custom Asterisk should rectify that soon.

Suddenly I have many more choices. I would be interested in the opinions of others on Asterisks for someone used to being a wizard. And unused to being human-shaped, but capable of doing so.

I know, it's bad timing to say so right before a long journey, but it will give me time to think.

[Kenichi honestly couldn't remember the last time he had posted. Sure he may have responded to some entries, but for the most part, he had unintentionally stayed silent. One day after finishing up any daily obligations of the chocobo ranch he had accidentally inherited from Cor, he finally sat down and stared at his iMog.

Oh, what the hell. There was no harm in asking. Surely some feedback would help clear things up for him.]

For those who don't know me, my name's Kenichi. I apologize for my own inactivity here as of late. Hope everyone's gotten some rest.

Look, I don't know when we'll have the next strategy meeting but I'd like to get some input from our last fight. I figured since we all had covered specific roles like healing, offensive magic and so on, this would be a good way to get everyone's perspective on this matter. Did anyone feel like we were lacking anything during that last fight? Well, more offensive power is a natural given but are there any other factors we need to improve on?

I'm only asking this because I do hate to admit it, but I feel like I'm in sort of a rut. As much as I love everything the Cavalier asterisk brings me, I must admit part of me felt frustrated with how little of a dent I put in. So if we can figure out what holes we might have, I want to be able to fill them in.

Why don't the Magitek knights have their own knight order? Or squads?

We have a buncha people going out and saving the world in awesome mecha! We should be like some sort of amazing super team! What does it take to get recognized as a knight order, anyway? Some kinda oath? Or a castle?

[After a few minutes, a curious addendum appears. Apparently, Red had found some sort of new tablet app for his iMog slate; a series of scribbles become attached to the message, saved and shared one after the other a few minutes apart:]

[His thoughts are continued with a message that comes a little later.]

How do you make a good emblem for a knight order?

[It's taken Uendo and the others a long time to come to a decision, and just as long to finally put that decision into action.

A part of him is still hesitant. He's considered the option of only picking out a small handful of people to let in on the secret. But the thought of having the same conversation over and over for every individual, trying to gauge who he should trust and who he shouldn't... It's too stressful, too exhausting. A video post is the simplest way to just get it over and done with.

Even so, he's scared to go through with it. It's probably just paranoia talking, but still, what if...?

'It's going to be okay!' Patches assures him. 'We have Okuyasu and Sasami-chan on our side! If they're cool with us, why not everyone else, right?'

Kisegawa has nothing to add. She's made her feelings known many times in the past. Uendo takes a deep breath, puts on his calm and collected face, and turns on the iMog slate.]

Good evening! How's everybody doing? It's nice to have some peace and quiet every once in a while, isn't it?

Um, that aside... I had an actual reason for making this post. There's a... personal matter I'd like to get off my chest, and I thought it'd be easier to do it like this instead of contacting people one at a time.

[Despite all his mental preparation, it still takes some effort to get the words out.]

So quick question. What other mechanical life forms are there around here? Other than myself, bullet-headed grimace face, and the Russian doll?

I already know about the lions, I'm just wondering if there's anything else.

Call it a scientific curiosity.

[The mognet post is titled 'Literature Club!']

Hi everyone, it's me, Sayori! I've been wanting to set up something fun for everyone, and I thought, what better way than to have a Literature Club meeting! I dunno if Monika had done one here before, but she was the president of the Club back home -- I was the vice president.

All you have to do is bring one piece of literature - a book, a comic, anything! And if you don't have anything to bring, that's okay too! You can read off of someone else's. And be sure to bring a poem to share with everyone, too! That's half the fun!

It'll be ten days from now! Over where I live -- B-10! If you have any questions, I'm always available!

See you all there, I hope!

[Thankfully, text makes it easier for her to not have to show her emotions. She and others are probably aware that Monika's gone, after all.]

Now that certain inconvenience seems now temporarily to be behind us - I require some information.

Those of you that are in possession of a customized Job Asterisk, tell me how you came to acquire it?
I'm informed that Ganeshan would be the initial point of contact but I'd rather take stock from those who have been through the process, firstly.

As you can see, this farm's kind of big for just one guy and his Moogle companion. If anyone wants to come body and help out, they're free to do so. We can discuss payments, rooming options, and so forth, if you so wish.

Also...do we still have people who know how to pilot small airships? Got a proposition for you there, too.

He doesn't know if the link shell could be hacked as it was claimed to be done before, but it was safer to take the extra precaution.]

During the six months we traveled repeatedly back in time, many of us explored the region and spoke with officials. I believe an in-person meeting is necessary in ensuring that we all have access to the same information. We can decide what actions to take as we find connections between the various events.

I have decided on a date early in the month, but I have yet to decide on a venue. Please mention locations that I shall consider.

I addition, I will design a schedule for those of us wishing to talk before the others. Provide the name(s), topic, any equipment required for the presentation, and the length of time requested for the talk.

Hello, everyone. I trust we're all enjoying our break? It was good to see so many of you at Dante's party! I think we all had a pretty good time...I know I did!

I know things are pretty restful at the moment, and that's good, but we can't afford to completely lose focus. Bahamut may be dead but there are other threats still out there. Since we have this period of peace, I thought we could take advantage of that to identify those threats and establish what we know about them, what we don't know, and how we might best deal with them if and when they resurface. I'll add the ones I know of, but if there are others, please feel free to add them.

Ramaa
The biggest one, obviously. With Bahamut dead, her plan is in ruins but given that she is the reincarnation of Kalki, we cannot count her out yet. Even though she escaped, I think we might have gotten through to her, just a little, at the end. It may not be necessary to fight her if and when she re-appears, and in fact, given the strength of her asterisks and
(there's a bit of a pause here) what she's capable of doing to us, I would heavily advise against an armed confrontation. Words of peace and support may be able to finish what we started before she escaped. As she is no longer Empress of San Devdatta, her resources will be significantly more limited, but I wouldn't be surprised if she has some sort of bolthole prepared and hidden away somewhere. We might approach Meghamaal to see if he has any ideas? He tried to discourage Ramaa from carrying out her plans; if our goal is to bring her in peaceably, which I believe it should be as death will only delay her for a few decades and not stop her completely once she reincarnates, he may be more inclined to help us find her.

There are Heroes who have had more experience dealing with her personally, of course. If you have any ideas where she might have hidden a sanctuary in the event of a worst-case scenario, please, by all means share it. No lead will remain investigated.

Ah, there's one last bit of business regarding Ramaa that...confuses me. When we broke into her iMog during the investigation of her quarters during the loops, we discovered some custom maps she'd loaded onto it. The first was a map of Vaikuntha with all the locations removed, the second was a map of Crystallis, where all this trouble originally began, and then the third was the most puzzling; some of the companions who were with me at the time have informed me the planet was Earth, and in fact I believe some of our own number are from multiple versions of this particular planet in their own realities. Vaikuntha and Crystallis make sense, but I'm not clear why Earth of all planets is of interest to her. It's a point that stuck out at me.

Balahaka
I've never met the man personally, but he was the other accomplice in Ramaa's plans, and unlike Meghamaal, he was extremely enthusiastic about them. He disappeared after Bahamut was stopped, and given the violent tendencies he revealed in his private communications with Ramaa, I'm afraid it's only a matter of time until he surfaces, and it's going to be bad when he does. Apparently he's a reincarnation of someone from Crystallis, but doesn't remember his past life; but he talked about constant feelings of hatred and violence, even towards Ramaa. According to Ramaa he represented a negative aspect, but also mentioned someone else who represented positive aspects; two halves of the same being, perhaps? Can anyone shed some light on this?

He and Ramaa may no longer be working together, though that's entirely conjecture on my part based on their MogNet logs; Ramaa enjoyed antagonizing him and Balahaka openly admitted to having always hated her (again, due to his apparently representing negative emotions like hatred and violence; does that imply he is incapable of feeling anything else? Anything positive? That's...a disturbing thought if so). Having failed with Bahamut, Ramaa may be in as much danger from him as the rest of us, especially if we got through to her. I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but if so, we may need to defend her from him in the future. I think Ramaa can be reasoned with; I suspect Balahaka can't.

Elidibus and the Byblos(?)
Elidibus seems to be unconnected to Ramaa and her plot; his concern seems entirely with the power of the Great Eidolon Zodiark. We stopped him from getting it at the Temple in Cloud City, but he did escape after we bested his summons, and I have no doubt he will try again. He called himself "Zodiark's chosen" during the battle, and boasted that the Eidolon had been "whispering" to him his entire life. Given that he seemed know things about us, or at least he did about me-he referred to me by my royal title of "princess" quite unbidden, and it's not outside the realm of possibility he would have heard of my status somehow, I was still trying to downplay it at the time, so it'd be hard for me to see how-there may be something to that claim. I don't wish to pry, but do any of the rest of you know what I mean? He seemed to almost enjoy lording his knowledge of who I was over me. Like he knew he was telling me something he shouldn't know and didn't care that I knew that.

By his own admission he also claimed responsibility for hoarding whatever scant knowledge of Zodiark existed, which is apparently why we had so much trouble finding anything on him. He even admitted to stealing that information when he had to, and has apparently been doing this for decades. He too must have a base somewhere, I can't imagine he'd collect all that information just to destroy it. But we have even less to go on for that than we do with Ramaa's supposed sanctum (which isn't much at the moment).

We also know that he is opposed by a creature not unlike the ones we encountered unlocking the Temple, which Elidibus called "Byblos"; apparently they're long-time adversaries. This is where it gets tricky, since if Byblos is a demon of Zodiark, why would it be opposing someone who believes himself to be Zodiark's chosen and receives information directly from the Eidolon, assuming Elidibus was telling the truth? Is Byblos some sort of renegade? It was teeth-grindingly vague about its motives even though it was capable of some garbled speech and ran off after Elidibus fled. It did help us fight Elidibus' summoned Eidolons but it being his enemy doesn't necessarily make it our ally, just that our motives lined up for that particular battle. If we get caught between the two again we'll need to be cautious. There's still too much we don't know about Elidibus and the source of his conflict with Byblos and I don't like it. I think we should try to make finding his sanctuary a priority; if there's any information that would shed some light on this, I have to believe Elidibus would keep it close to hand.

Gilgamesh
Admittedly not as big of a threat as the others I've listed, but every time he's shown up he's caused trouble. He's a warrior obsessed with unique and powerful weapons; during the MogNet fiasco he tried to take Shadow Yato from me, and during the lead-up to Bahamut's arrival stole the entire Arito armoury, or at least he did until we stopped him.

Gilgamesh doesn't seem actively malicious per se, just single-mindedly selfish about collecting weapons that catch his fancy, and his presence can serve to hinder us if he decides to try doing that when there's a larger threat at play. If you have such a weapon, that makes you a target and he'll probably try to come back for it again, so be on your guard. It seems like he also has something that at least resembles a code of honour, or a warrior ethos, so that might make him a little more predictable than the others I've mentioned.

Those are the outstanding threats as I see them. Does anyone else have anything they wish to add? Someone else we should be on the lookout for or be wary of? Please, speak up if so.

I've been sorely neglecting my store of materials these last few moons, and as it happens, I'm running low. I'll compensate anyone who brings me some metals, and I will take everything you can give me. Ore, sand, old weapons, anything.

If you can get it to me in Nakagawa the next fortnight or so, I'll pay double.

Glad that's all over. I really didn't need another reason to hate Mondays, but there it is.

So it's time for me to come clean: I didn't spend all my money on potions and chemist stuff. On the off chance this was the time we took care of team Ramaamut, I took the liberty of marinating and slow cooking a few summer favorites, including the shawarma. We're gonna have us a well earned vacation, boys and girls! But we could do better than the restaurant, right? I think so. Instead, we're booking the hot springs in Myste Aura, get ourselves a nice, early take of summer. Sound good? Sounds good.

Also completely unrelated, but Bass is insisting I tell everyone the mortgage I took on Dante Must Fry a few days ago. Pretty worthwhile investment, right? No one died, except for when Phoenix gave us a mulligan. Turns out this zora's not gonna be the only thing red here in the restaurant!

Bass really didn't like that joke.

So in case anyone knows about a little freelance work somewhere, I'd appreciate a point in the right direction.

[Corrin looks tired. She gets what sleep she can where she can, but these loops are playing merry hell with her internal clock and all the traveling and working and planning are taking their toll, even with recovering at the start of every loop; physically at least. Still, she has a wan smile on her face and her expression is hopeful.]

Okay, so I'm just going to get started; I don't know how many of you saw this, but yesterday I made a televised speech to the people of Myste Aura to answer some questions about the Calamity I know people were having. My hope was that airing the address to the people before the queen and king gave their speech might cause it to succeed, especially with Uendo and others working the crowd afterward. In previous loops, it hasn't done much to improve morale or the situation in Myste Aura.

It was...somewhat successful. But not enough to change the situation. By myself I couldn't convince enough people that I was telling the truth or that I could be trusted. A sizable portion of the people who saw my address even thought I was crazy,

Fortunately, I think this has provided a solution; next loop I want to try giving the address again, but I need more of you with me to help address the people of Myste Aura as well. I think if there were more of us, a diverse group of Heroes all answering what questions we can about the Calamity and ensuring everyone that we will save them and stop Bahamut, with Uendo and the others working the crowd afterwards, we can make the following royal address a success and keep the people of Myste Aura from losing hope.

I especially would like the assistance of some of the native Heroes among us; having actual Vaikunthans amongst us when we give our address would go a long way to helping convince the people and help put them at ease. It will show unity, and the bonds we're forging with this planet and its people. I've worked with Serge and Dante before, and there's also...Sylvarie, I think? I apologize if there are any others I've missed I am...[Corrin stifles a yawn.] ...Sorry. My brain is kind of mush right now. I think I'm going to try and have a nap.

Anyway, if we can get the speech to go off, then I can get the king and queen to stand down from sending ships and men to fight Bahamut. I was thinking instead we could send those ships to Arito. The riots are taking longer to break out now, but they still happen and I think with Myste Aura's help we could stop them completely. Then I can approach the general in Safer Osu and with his assistance and Myste Aura's withdrawal get the rest of the Safer Osu military to stand down as well, so we can send them elsewhere too; I was thinking perhaps Port Dia-ugh, no sorry, mind slipped, I meant Nohr Port; that shark monster's attack is still proving troublesome, right? With the Safer Osu airships they could spot it approaching more quickly and provide air support to take it down once it attacks. We might be able to solve...[Corrin's brow furrows and she mutters the next part under her breath] let's see, the speech, Arito, Safer Osu, yeah, and Nohr... four ongoing problems in one go if we can pull this off.

If you would like to assist, please reply to this message so I'll know how large of a group to expect, and then meet up in Myste Aura as soon as you can at the start of the next loop. Uendo, if you and the other entertainers in the group could also be there to help keep spirits up I think that would also help tremendously as well. We can work on the address I used to ensure that everyone who appears has something to say to the people. I will turn away no one who wants to help.

I know sometimes it can seem like we're not making much progress, but we are, I can feel it. Together, our voices will reach the people.

I'll have to check back on this in a few hours, I...[Another yawn] I need a nap.

M'not sure who'll see this, but we figure it's worth a shot. I'm sure people have heard about the cult starting up in Nakagawa, and I'm sure a lot of us have seen their messages on the MogNet. So I'm reaching out to everyone, every Hero of Light and every Moogle.

We want to stop their messages. And we need help to do that. So if you're not ready to give up yet, and if you think the MogNet shouldn't be used for cult initiations, help us. For anyone who helps, I'll owe you any favor you want and, for any Moogles that help, I can try to convince my boyfriend to make you some specialty Kupo Nuts. Or we can figure out what you want for payment. But this place is worth saving, especially from a cult.

[Noodle takes over at this point, trying to help as best as she can.]

We need everyone, kupo, to stop the bad people! I don't know how to stop the messages, kupo... but someone out there has to! And if you help, you can join the club, kupo. [While Gladio facepalms in the background, Noodle gets closer to the slate and stage whispers.]

I don't know what that really means, kupo, but if it's a club we can get jackets! Right, kupo?! [A fresh wave of excitement at a special jacket takes over and Noodle whirls around, darting towards Gladio and knocking the iMog over.

The video ends with an upside-down view of part of a koi pond, green bamboo shoots, and the sky above as Gladio tells Noodle he never said anything about jackets but maybe he'll make a patch or something.]

Given our current situation, I have taken the opportunity to study these "Calamity" creatures that appear in the last few days before the reset. It would seem that there is more to learn from this mutation process, and from what I've studied, I have reason to believe it behaves along the lines of what most of you organic life-forms would call a "disease process."

For those of you I haven't met yet— my name is Rutile. I am a doctor working out of Arito.

While this information may be helpful, it is unfortunately, useless unless we can make something out of it. Even though it has been a few times now, even without sleeping two to three days is not enough for me to be able to come up with some sort of vaccine myself, therefore... I am looking for individuals who take an interest in this sort of thing, or may have knowledge to share on the subject— so that we might come together in an attempt to come up with a solution.

I realize that there are some of you who are much more adept to dealing with the nature of biology and organic life than I am despite my studies since coming here, and your experience would be invaluable. Even the study of the animals at the reserve may be more helpful than we realize.

I will remain at the hospital in Arito at work should anyone be looking for me, with all lines of communication open. Perhaps together we may be able to find a cure

[Megatron is seated at a table across from the camera, fingers steepled in front of his face. A pair of sunglasses and a turtleneck sweater and he'd be Gendou Ikari.]

I have an update on one of the many fires we need to put out and a request for assistance in doing so. Captain Gaator and his men are lost, or will be lost again in the Unknown Territories after help from Armstrong Fort is cut off. Without assistance, these men will die out there. I will not allow that to happen.

In the last loop I attempted to use some cobbled together communications equipment to reach out to them after they became lost. The signal was too weak to send them a message of hope, that rescue was on the way...which it wasn't. They all froze to death before I could pinpoint their exact location and organize a rescue.

Fortunately, the data I did recover was helpful in tracking their movements and I now believe a rescue attempt could be attempted before the first deaths occur. I will require someone with an airship and a communication system strong enough to reach Captain Gaator. The plan is that I will send them a message telling them they have not been forgotten and not to lose hope; help is on the way. The airship will be used for collection and evac. I will be on hand to administer medical attention to any who need it; however, if there are other medical professionals here-and I know that there are-assistance in this matter would be appreciated lest I run the risk of being overwhelmed. Though if we reach them soon enough, that will hopefully not be an issue.

Please respond to this message if you think you will be able to help in any regard. You have my thanks.

[Megatron starts to stand up, but then pauses.]. Oh, and Starscream? [He looks at the camera.] Thank you for volunteering to be my nurse for this expedition. I can already hear you arguing from here, so please don't bother.
