WANTED: metal

I've been sorely neglecting my store of materials these last few moons, and as it happens, I'm running low. I'll compensate anyone who brings me some metals, and I will take everything you can give me. Ore, sand, old weapons, anything.

If you can get it to me in Nakagawa the next fortnight or so, I'll pay double.

youd be surprised how much ore gets pulverized and mixed up with sand. i can smelt it out. its not the best but it works well in a pinch.

You mean I could just drag you bucketfuls from the beach and you could eventually MAKE something out of it?? How much sand would you even need??

if theres ore in it yes.

but id need a lot. and smelting would take a long time. so its not ideal.

That's fine. I'd rather drag over some scrap from the Magitek Knights' guild than lug over a few boatloads of sand, anyway.

What're you going to be making with it? Anything special?

id prefer that too. easier to turn back into ingots and i dont have to spend all day smelting out the crap.

part of it is just to refresh my stash. im very low.

part of it is that i promised gilgamesh id make him something special if hed leave hisan city alone. i kind of offered up my axe as collateral. i want it back sooner than later.

ive made stupider choices. not many. but stupider.

depends on what comes my way for materials. back home there was a metal called adamantite and it shone the most amazing shade of blue on top of being excellent for weapons and armor alike.

id like to see if theres something similar here.

or something better. so i can make a weapon as beautiful as it is useful.

adamantoise.

assuming its the same here but back home so named because their shells feel as tough as adamantite.

but it's an ore not a shell.

I know.

Every time I go in there I see someone's most embarrassing or painful memory, including mine one time.

And I just KNOW a couple really awful ones are just waiting to be put on display.

but i dont particularly wish to try my luck on that front. ifrit and bahamut were bad enough thank you kindly.
