[ The video clicks on and... who is that!? That one lady who didn't know how to type! Where did she learn how to press the video button?

Ena sits primly at a table, her moogle hovering over her shoulder, and kitchen in the background that is clearly that of the standard houses in the Curti Center. There's a calm archaic smile on her face, the confident air around her doesn't feel at all rehearsed, but natural. ]

Greetings, fellow outworlders.

It has come to my attention that it is soon time for those of us who first arrived in the spring to find our own accommodation elsewhere, outside of the Curti Center.

Purchasing a house is no easy task. I know some of you have moved out already, and I commend you for taking initiative and not waiting until the last moment. [ ] So for those of you who've already done it, I am very much interested to know what sort of house you've purchased, and I have some questions. [ She spreads out one of her folded hands and taps the tip of each finger with each question. ] Where did you decide to relocate to, and did your employment or education have any influence on this decision? How big is your house, and do you live with others? And most importantly, how much did you pay, or are you paying?

...Additionally, [ she holds up a finger ] I understand some of you may be feeling some anxiety about the upcoming state dinner with Sen Devadatta. Fortunately, navigating the intricacies of such events is where I was born and bred, so I would be more than happy to answer some of your questions should you have any... if you need incentive to provide housing information, of course. [ Haha... But no, seriously. Help. ]

Thank you, and I eagerly await your responses. [ And she won't tell anyone that she has no idea what she's doing. ]

[ ooc: feel free to show off pics of what your character's house/apartment/shack looks like! ]

[Today you are all graced with the visage of the Mars marshal, who has finally decided maybe it's time he brings something up here on the network.]

Howdy folks. Name's Sparks Nevada, if we haven't met yet. Before this planet, I was on one called Crystallis. Though before that, I was on Mars, and originally, I'm... from Earth. Thing is, I know a few folks who're from Crystallis that are here, too. It was kind of a similar situation. Y'know, the whole getting dragged outta yer home to be forced to live on another planet with crazy magic and chocobos and all that stuff. The difference there was that we were all considered to be somethin' called "Heroes of Light" and we had to basically save the planet -- the whole multiverse, actually -- from gettin' annihilated. Yer welcome, by the way.

Thing is, there are sure a lotta coincidences on this planet. If the jobs and the races 'a folks and all that ain't enough of a clue, the place names are a dead giveaway. Half of them are named for the Heroes from Crystallis. Even I got one - Sparks Goldsaucia. Pretty cool. Reckon it's all a bit too much to be a coincidence.

Bonnie also brought up the map to me, and... [He looks that over in a separate window.] If ya squint just right, and slide some bits around, sure as heck does look like Crystallis. Durin' that whole apocalypse thing, the planet did get kinda messed up and broken, so I guess we wouldn't have known what the continents looked like after all that. Woulda taken some time to re-map, and I was only there for a month after the whole ordeal was over. Had a planet to get back to marshaling, ya see.

What's my point to all this? Guess my point is that I don't believe in coincidences. The universe is, like, both too big and too small at the same time for that nonsense, if'n that makes any sense at all. It does. I think.

Hey everyone!

The trip around Vaikuntha has made me realize we barely know anything about what everyone's homes are like, don't we? It's important to learn more about this world if we're to live here, but it's even more important to get to know each others if we're going to live here together. I think we could learn a lot by sharing neat details about what our homeworlds are like.

I come from a planet called Earth. We have no magic or magitek, no jobs or monsters between cities. Most of these things belong to the realm of fantasy and imagination where I come from. It is what the people of my world excel at, creating stories and imaginary worlds with words and images for people to enjoy. We have technology kinda like what they have in Oktavia, but not as advanced.

But anyway, that's it for my homeworld. If you'd like to share what your world is like, I'd love to hear what you have to say.

Thanks for reading,
Monika

[Okuyasu opts for a text message rather than a video as 1) it's kind of easy to figure out after some practice - it's like a computer, only the keys don't get stuck and 2) he hopes fewer people will recognize him from the tiny icon.]

you know after the past few days i think im finally getting that this is all real
that im not dreaming that i woke up in outer space and went to a planet where magic is real
does that make sense?

i guess what im trying to say is i suddenly realize that i was sleeping in a real bed in a real house and ate real food
but at the same time i cant completely accept it yet
and its confusing

i know it sounds pretty dumb but thats how I feel
