[Kenichi sits at his home's bar, looking over some papers. His fingers rapidly flick away at the beads of an abacus. What he would give to be able reach into his own god coffers at a time like this. After a few seconds, he stops and sighs before turning the camera.]

Hm...still not enough. Right. Sorry about that. A quick introduction since I've been negligent to be being active as of late. My name's Kenichi Nakagawa. Since I've arrived here, I've been trying to save up for an airship. While I do have the funds to secure one, I don't think it would be on the most ideal for the big fight coming up. So please hear me out.

An Enterprise-class airship would be ideal for all of us, but that mostly likely is beyond our any of our means. That means a Highwind-class airship would be the next best thing. Of course, it would require two pilots. A Dream Width module along with the shield and the maximum three weapon modules would mean the airship would cost a grand total of 22,700,000 gil.

[He's going to let that sink in for a bit.]

Of course, I'm open to debate whether we need all these modules or even if we should invest in one big airship or multiple smaller-scale ones. An alternative would be if anyone does have an airship already, then I'd be willing to help with paying for modules. If we are able to obtain an airship that requires multiple pilots, I'm willing to discuss....custody over it? Geeze, I make it sound like child custody or something.

The point is, we should consider having our own airships while we still have time. I'll see if we can set up an account or something so everyone who is interested can pitch in the effort and keep you posted of any progress.

[ The message is sent in the BFG Linkshell. ]

Dear Heroes of Light.

As promised, here is an update on our ongoing efforts to stop Bahamut from laying waste to our world.

We are working on pinpointing the exact location of Bahamut's summoning. Using data from the Crystal Temple, we have ascertained the summoning should occur in imperial territories— Much to my dismay, is becoming increasingly evident the summoner is from our country. Thankfully, this means as we grow closer to the summoning date we should be able to locate a specific location. We may not have the location with perfect accuracy until hours before the summoning, but these few hours will be precious in our efforts. I will send you the location as soon as we get it.

Safer Osu's military strategy is the predominant strategy my peers have agreed to. Arito and Myste Aura have vowed to lead their strengths to the effort. To put it simply, around a hundred military airship will be stationed by the creature's expected location and attack the beast the moment it appears. The hope is to kill it before it can even realize what is happening. Of course, I have my doubts the Calamity Harbinger can be defeated through such means. Regardless, this will be a military operation unlike any this world has seen before. As the operation will be happening in imperial territories, our own army will join the effort.

Last but not least, I trust you are aware of the Mognet glitch that revealed to all the truth. So far, the population is divided. Some believe what they heard, others do not. There has been no resulting panic, thankfully. To put an end to any and all doubt, the leaders of all five nations will officially address the situation on March 01st. I expect things to remain calm... However as we grow closer to the day, it is likely panic will overtake a sizable amount of the population. Coordinating law enforcement to keep peace and the attack on Bahamut will prove quite challenging.

But yours is the most important and dangerous part of them all. It is still my belief you are the only ones who stand a chance at defeating the creature. Oktavia, much like I do, believes you to be our hope. Should you request financial assistance from them, I believe it stands to reason they would not refuse you, so long as you remain reasonable.

Pray contact me should you have any questions.

Admittedly, this is...very unlike me, but I'm going along with this before the excitement wears off. It took far longer than I thought to put together my asterisk, but I finally have something both complete and a bit more towards my style. That much isn't so out of the ordinary, but...oh, I'll just get to it. Lucian?

(There's a brief moment of discussion with her moogle before Matilda finally goes and dabbles with her iMog. The flash of a job change is nothing unusual by any means, nor is the shift in attire, but a full on shift from her normal fox appearance to that of a dragon? Not a whole lot bigger than she normally is, at least, but that's definitely a dragon there. One with scales that look as if you're looking up at space itself, seeing the stars and swirls of a blue nebula. The dragon rubs her head, the voice coming from her very much Tilly's.)

Once I learned I could call upon my draconic power in times of emergency, I knew I wouldn't be able to keep this a secret for long. And...while this is liberating, I suppose it's also a heads up to not be alarmed if you see me like this elsewhere? It may not be the greatest to go about towns in, now that I think about it...

...A-anyway, yes. This much is part of the asterisk and I'm quite happy with it. I thought I'd share that with everyone else...

(A smile. See? Nothing to worry about at all, promise! God, she's being so awkward right now, she's just...gonna end this before it gets agonizing.)
