Hey everyone!
The trip around Vaikuntha has made me realize we barely know anything about what everyone's homes are like, don't we? It's important to learn more about this world if we're to live here, but it's even more important to get to know each others if we're going to live here together. I think we could learn a lot by sharing neat details about what our homeworlds are like.
I come from a planet called Earth. We have no magic or magitek, no jobs or monsters between cities. Most of these things belong to the realm of fantasy and imagination where I come from. It is what the people of my world excel at, creating stories and imaginary worlds with words and images for people to enjoy. We have technology kinda like what they have in Oktavia, but not as advanced.
But anyway, that's it for my homeworld. If you'd like to share what your world is like, I'd love to hear what you have to say.

In my world, people follow sports mostly to keep distracted from their daily lives issues. Money, depression, anxiety. Maybe that's all there is to it? Though it is quite strange both your world and this one share this very sport. Shoopuf as well, you said?

But getting dragged into a whole new world is pretty telling on its own, right? It's never just a fun field trip.

[It had all felt real to him, but Spira was reality. He still struggled with that from time to time.]
Point is, being clueless about everything isn't fun. And seeing things you've never seen...it can change you, fast.

Where you came from was never real in the first place?
If you don't mind me asking, what do you mean by that?

Where I come from, a big city was destroyed in a war a thousand years ago. One of the summoners who survived gathered up all the survivors, and they put themselves in a trance to make a version of the city that would stay alive in memory
And then he made a giant monster to protect the dream city and terrorized the rest of the world.
Me and my dad are from that dream world, and as far as we know, we're the only two who were ever taken out and thrown into the real world.

This... About summoners and giant monsters... This sounds like this could belong to an horror story. Yet, your arrival in this world sounds like a fairy tale. It must have been quite the experience for you. I can't imagine what it must be like, living in a fabricated world only to be suddenly thrown in a world of infinite possibilities.

But it wasn't all bad. I met some good friends. And a girl.

If you made friend and met someone special. Well, I can't judge. But in my opinion, that would make it all worth it. I think my reality would be much better if harsher but with someone special, than dreamy but empty of real bonds.
