Hey everyone!

The trip around Vaikuntha has made me realize we barely know anything about what everyone's homes are like, don't we? It's important to learn more about this world if we're to live here, but it's even more important to get to know each others if we're going to live here together. I think we could learn a lot by sharing neat details about what our homeworlds are like.

I come from a planet called Earth. We have no magic or magitek, no jobs or monsters between cities. Most of these things belong to the realm of fantasy and imagination where I come from. It is what the people of my world excel at, creating stories and imaginary worlds with words and images for people to enjoy. We have technology kinda like what they have in Oktavia, but not as advanced.

But anyway, that's it for my homeworld. If you'd like to share what your world is like, I'd love to hear what you have to say.

In your absence? Are you an influential figure in the City-State of Ul'Dah?

I am its Sultana, the 17th of the line Nanamo Ul Namo. In case of emergency, all surrogate power goes to General Pipin Aldynn, though it is a heavy crown to bear. Personally after meeting with Lord Godbert Manderville, I would have very much liked to appoint him and Lolorito financial advisers to the crown in case I am in absence. Again.

Oh, I had no idea I was speaking with a royalty. My apologies if I have been incorrect in the way I talked to you.

I can share in the pain of being absent from one's responsibilities. Well, mines are nothing compared to yours. But it always felt very stressful and anxious when I couldn't be there for my club. I can't begin to imagine how it must feel like for an entire nation.

It's quite all right. It would be unheard to press for station in such a situation as we are in now.

Yes, and considering only General Aldynn is newly instated, I hope he will do well.

Admittedly it is worrisome, but I know Lord Godbert and Lord Lolorito will keep the rest of the Monetarists in check, and from seizing power.

There isn't much that can be done from here regardless. Our best hope is to do what we can here, and hope things are going well in our homeworld.

Based on how you speak of them, they seem to be competent people, I wouldn't worry too much.

Tis true. I have faith in the people whom I call ally and friend. Lolorito and Godbert have become quite the worthy hands in arms, and there is always General Aldynn who I trust implicitly to keep the peace. I worry for their sake, but my prayers are with them.

Perhaps it would be best for you to focus on the situation at hand then. Competent as they are, I doubt they would have any desire for you to worry over them when you find yourself in what could be a dangerous situation. Well, not that it's been bad so far.

I believe so. And even if some such oddity as time stopping or whatever might occur in our absence, which is highly unlikely given the odds, the sun rises in Thanalan, and so must we to the challenge ahead.
