[Today you are all graced with the visage of the Mars marshal, who has finally decided maybe it's time he brings something up here on the network.]
Howdy folks. Name's Sparks Nevada, if we haven't met yet. Before this planet, I was on one called Crystallis. Though before that, I was on Mars, and originally, I'm... from Earth. Thing is, I know a few folks who're from Crystallis that are here, too. It was kind of a similar situation. Y'know, the whole getting dragged outta yer home to be forced to live on another planet with crazy magic and chocobos and all that stuff. The difference there was that we were all considered to be somethin' called "Heroes of Light" and we had to basically save the planet -- the whole multiverse, actually -- from gettin' annihilated. Yer welcome, by the way.
Thing is, there are sure a lotta coincidences on this planet. If the jobs and the races 'a folks and all that ain't enough of a clue, the place names are a dead giveaway. Half of them are named for the Heroes from Crystallis. Even I got one - Sparks Goldsaucia. Pretty cool. Reckon it's all a bit too much to be a coincidence.
Bonnie also brought up the map to me, and... [He looks that over in a separate window.] If ya squint just right, and slide some bits around, sure as heck does look like Crystallis. Durin' that whole apocalypse thing, the planet did get kinda messed up and broken, so I guess we wouldn't have known what the continents looked like after all that. Woulda taken some time to re-map, and I was only there for a month after the whole ordeal was over. Had a planet to get back to marshaling, ya see.
What's my point to all this? Guess my point is that I don't believe in coincidences. The universe is, like, both too big and too small at the same time for that nonsense, if'n that makes any sense at all. It does. I think.

Wish there was a way I could bring any info from Crystallis here, that'd be a bigger help. I mean, I remember it pretty well, I lived there for a few years, but it won't be everything.

Either way, anecdotal evidence is probably gonna to be all we'll get at this point.
[ It's better than nothing. ]

I mean, if I'm at all right about it, that is.

[ In other words, don't clam up just because you think you might be wrong. They're never gonna get anywhere like that. ]
Do you mind confirming what actually happened to Crystallis at the end? Ira mentioned how the Chaos was guided to make a new world by four people.
[ Who'd sacrificed themselves in the process. But she still feels like she's missing some of the details. Or even just a corroboration of Ira's version of events could prove useful. ]

[Sparks will forever feel guilty about the people who gave up their lives for that. Especially since they were all younger than him - two of the four were just teenagers. Not that he wanted to die or something, but it bothered him nonetheless.]
Yeah, that happened. See, the whole thing was about this cycle of crystallization that happens. There was a woman who wanted it all to end, but it kinda would have killed everyone? I wasn't into that. Then there was the Calamity from the Skies, which me and several others fought at the end. And we won! So that mean the cycle was oh my god wait does this mean this stuff is starting all over again!? Crap. I really hope not.

[ People having to sacrifice themselves for something that may or may not have worked... it just doesn't leave her feeling pretty confident. ]
Calamity of the Skies, that some kind of apocalypse type thing?

[ This is a girl who has seen Some Shit, Sparks. ]

I feel like me and the other Crystyallis veterans should just get everyone together and tell the whole story at once. Over drinks. I'll definitely need a few of those while going over this stuff.

Fine. You better invite me to that though, when it happen.
Not all of us are old enough to drink though.

Maybe it doesn't have to be a real space, but we could do, like, virtual meetings over video chat with every one of the, um, space immigrants? We need a good collective noun.

So you mean sorta like some kind of otherworlders-type guild? Preferably run by non-natives.
[ Guess who doesn't trust the Curti Center~ ]

[It's not that Sparks has a reason to distrust the Curti Center, but he doesn't have a reason to trust them yet, either.]

I'd be happy to rig up a bit of security for any technology there too, if we ever get somewhere like that.
[ Well, once she gets a bit more of a grasp on the tech here. But something as big as this would probably take some time anyway, so she's fairly sure she'd be ready by then. Not everyone may share her mistrust of the Curti Center but she's fairly certain that a lot of them will rest easier having their own private space, even online. ]
Or for an online forum, I suppose, if we go that route.

[ She's got about two months before they're all kicked out and she... doesn't know what to do about that. She's pretty sure she won't be great for a lot of the normal jobs and the only free housing after that is for school which she wants to go back to even less, so.... She really hopes Ren and Makoto have some idea what to do. ]
Well, if anything like that does start happening, let me know. Offer stands.
