[ Lelouch shrugs at Mogya, who seems to be recording. There's nothing fancy here. Just Lelouch wearing an apron and cutting up some fish. Neither one of them seem to notice it, but there's a third set of eyes. An otter lurks. Clearly up to no good. ]

Can you really call yourself independent if you can't manage at least this much?

[ Unfortunately, it's enough of a distraction. That otter dashes forward, snatching up a few fish chunks along the way. Both Mogya and Lelouch startle, but the later seems to recover faster. He shouts, hand shooting out to grab the pet by the scruff with his hand out. ]

Drop it! [ Not that the otter seems to be interested in that. It shakes its head. Actively turning it's mouth away from that open hand. ] I said drop it. Don't make me -

[ And then there's Euphy coming into the room. Not looking too happy. Lelouch stammers, long enough for the otter to break free and leap into Euphy's arms. ]

Don't you yell at it! It was just hungry.

You should be kinder to your companion! There's no reason to let him starve. There, there. It's alright, you just wanted some food, didn't you? Poor, sweet little guy...

[ She turns on her heel, leaving. Otter still in her arms. Lelouch rubs at his face in irritation. Mogya just starts laughing. ]

So much for trying to catch a video of you cooking, kupo.

[ His gaze snaps right back to the Moogle. ]

[ He quirks an eyebrow at the mention of piloting. Euphy didn't mention much about her brother, but he didn't seem much like the piloting type. Though the only dedicated pilots Hunk's age that he knew were... unique. So it might be an unfair comparison. ]

Do you know how to pilot anything? [ Casually squashing the temptation to ask if it's easier for him than otter wrangling. ] Or are you just gonna wing it?

My mother was a fairly prominent pilot. I'm also pretty quick to catch onto something when I'm working with my hands and mind.

So it sounds like the baby bird's getting pushed out of the nest. [ Another joke. And then he tilts his head, clearly in thought. ]

Euphy's mom was a pilot? She never said anything about that. [ And then he narrows his eyes a bit. ] That's pretty cool.

Ah... We have different mothers.

Oh. [ Not what he expected, especially since they seem about the same age, which could be a little awkward? ] That's cool.

[ But then he can't push the curiosity away. Lelouch is a bit more open to these topics than Euphy seems to be, so... ] What about Euphy's mom? And your dad? Were they as awesome as your pilot mom? And- [ He stifles a chuckle, instead just smirking for a moment. ] Where'd Euphy's pink hair come from?

[ Most of it is harmless information. The best lies are partial truths, after all. ]

Our father? [ So hard to say that in a pleasant tone. ] Not so much. Victoria li Britannia is a proper lady. My mother was just unusual. Mother was one of the best pilots in the country.

[ But she ended up being a lousy mother. ANYWAY. ]

I suspect that the hair color of Euphy and her older sister come from their mother's line.

[ Hunk just nods at the information, muttering small "uh-huhs" here and there. He's learning things! An unusual but competent pilot makes him think of his buddy Keith, so he can't judge Mama Lelouch too much. ]

Wait, Euphy has a sister!? [ His eyes go a little wide, and Hunk lets out a little "oooooh" of awe. ] She never mentioned that. Is her sister cool?

She is also a pilot. A very skilled one.

[ And a worthy opponent. Not that Lelouch is going to say that. Not exactly. ]
