It’s been a while since we all had that dinner to remember together, hasn't it? I’ve been thinking since then, and I’m sure you all have been as well. You’re a helpful lot like that. Here’s my question for you, then. Do you consider yourself to be a Hero of Light now? Do you feel any more heroic? Or maybe you were a hero back home? I guess I’m curious.

[And then there’s silence for a moment. Unfortunately for someone else, he starts speaking again.]

That reminds me. My roommate—her name is Mòrag. I fear she’s been a little lonely lately, and I hardly ever see her socializing. If you see her, won’t you try to befriend her? You have my gratitude in advance.

Is there? If you saved someone's life and decided not to call yourself a hero, but they insisted on calling you one, what would you say? Would you tell them you're not a hero, even if they believe it with all their heart? Maybe perspective is really all it takes.

If they called me a hero before I saved anyone, I'd have to say they were jumping the gun a bit. ( sort of like how this all feels... )

But as for your question— the answer might depend on who you're asking. ( perception can be a fickle thing, after all. )

We might have to get used to it. I've already heard the phrase more times than I'd like to.

My answer would have to be... no, in that case. ( which is the general consensus around tokyo right now, as far as ren knew. ) The high praise isn't something I'm used to.

( gossip and opinion polls, sure— legends and prophecies? not so much. )

Unfortunately, it seems like a name we're stuck with.

Kupo, I can understand being overwhelmed by the title. A lot of the Heroes back on Crystallis were, and when I wound up here I wasn't able to believe it at all, kupo. But being a Hero, being able to stand and protect a world like this...Back home I wanted to do my best and stand alongside our Heroes and now it's my turn to be the one standing forward.

It probably won't be easy, but I believe we can do it, kupo!

[She grins and huffs a bit in her excitement before remembering the end of it.]

[There, there. His voice shifts from teasing to comforting.]

What did you mean to say before I teased you like that? You can take your time.

And you have manners, too. I'm Legault, and I'm holding up just fine. The pleasure's all mine.

[If anything, he might come across as not worried enough. His tone is always a mix between teasing and easygoing, like he might not be taking this seriously.]

There's nothing wrong with making a mess, is there? Sometimes, it's the only way to reach a solution. You just have to mess up carefully.

I'm not overwhelmed by the title. If anything, it's a little funny.

[He's more interested in hearing from other people, their feelings about the word.]

But it sounds like you're quite the hero already. I'm going to rest easier at night knowing you're doing your best.

I will be standing right where I am now. If Bahamut thinks he can strike me down so easily, he'll find that he has a strong foe to contend with.

[Which is a roundabout way of saying that she may help, but only if she feels like it's advantageous for her to do so.]

[Klonoa still wouldn't quite get the idea. He gets now that Legault is from another world, but so was Adrien... so maybe he was just here before him and got hired? He doesn't exactly seem to pay attention to these things very well.]
