[ It'd kinda taken a backseat with everything else going on, but there's still something that's been bothering her a bit. She could just dismiss it as a kid making things up but... after everything she's experienced here, and back home, she's got a gut feeling there's more to it.
She can't search the internet like she used to but... well that doesn't mean crowdsourcing is off the table. ]
Hey, did anybody else run into a weird girl on their first day here? A little kid, blonde hair.
Also does anybody know what the name of this "linkshell" means? Kali Shashidhwaja. She mentioned that, along with telling me that "she" would try to hurt me if I ever lost it and was alone.
[ As a final note, she added the two pictures the girl had doodled, described as follows: " There was a crude drawing of a feminine figure with purple eyes standing over what appeared to be the corpses of a human and a moogle, looking a bit eerily similar to Futaba and her moogle even though the drawing was crude. " Along with "This time the figures looking like Futaba and her moogle were standing alive, and were surrounded by other figures. They faced toward the purple-eyed figure, who seemed to be fleeing."
And now, to see what information others might have... ]

It's possible she lives around here. Has anyone asked the staff about her? Could be the kid of a researcher around here.

This 'goddess of death' bothers me. Might be nothing. But, it can't hurt to look into it.
no subject
Perhaps this goddess of death is the keeper of this place? Several of the people who have just arrived were dead in their own worlds.
no subject
Take a look at the goddess in the two versions...
[He includes three pictures with his text. "a drawing of four people standing around the defeated corpse of the goddess. There were two men and two women, and holding a crystal in their hand.", "a female figure with long flowing hair, surrounded by four black crystals. The only color on the drawing is for her eyes, a vivid purple.", and "a very ornate painting depicting the same goddess than before. This time however, no dark crystals around her. Instead the corpses of countless dead people, looking eerily similar to the four heroes depicted earlier."]
I don't have more to offer than this either. We can look around and see what we find. If nothing else, we'll be learning a bit more about this world.

I will contact you should she reappear or I find something of interest.

Still let's keep an eye out for the girl.

and in need of sleep. These people, honestly... ]Though we appreciate your interest in our world and history, absurd as it may sound that you’re this certain about it when we are still studying it ourselves, please consider instead preparing to set up your life before you are evicted from the center in five months.
[ Taxes won't pay for you all forever...! ]

And don’t worry, I am. Just because I’m taking time between looking at job ads to theorize doesn’t mean I’m not looking at all.

I wouldn't mind that if there were counterpoints. Instead, you tried to shut it down entirely. Trying to imply we're sick or should be focusing on something else entirely does not help.
And you're right; we don't, and with what you've just admitted to, you guys don't either. But that, I think, is part of why this whole thing was posted in the first place: to try and collect the pieces we do know and fit them together in a way that makes sense. Even if all we have are pieces that don't quite fit together just yet. We're all stuck here, now. Might as well, right?
... What I'm trying to say is: don't discredit what others have seen and experienced, but try to help solve the puzzle.

Miss Sylvarie? Are you alright, kupo? Can I get you anything?

Sir... My apologies, the past several days have been tiring... and now I feel all the more concerned and uneasy.

Would you like to talk about it, kupo? I can bring us some tea.
[Which would be much better than a Certain Someone's coffee, bless them for trying.]

That's all she gave me to work with.

It sounds familiar, but I have no idea what it's called. Or where to place it.
All I know is that it wasn't from where I spent the first year of my life, because pretty sure anyone musically inclined there was more fond of "Queen" than whatever this is.
[And now he's gonna have "We Are the Champions" stuck in his head again. RIP him.]
