[ It'd kinda taken a backseat with everything else going on, but there's still something that's been bothering her a bit. She could just dismiss it as a kid making things up but... after everything she's experienced here, and back home, she's got a gut feeling there's more to it.
She can't search the internet like she used to but... well that doesn't mean crowdsourcing is off the table. ]
Hey, did anybody else run into a weird girl on their first day here? A little kid, blonde hair.
Also does anybody know what the name of this "linkshell" means? Kali Shashidhwaja. She mentioned that, along with telling me that "she" would try to hurt me if I ever lost it and was alone.
[ As a final note, she added the two pictures the girl had doodled, described as follows: " There was a crude drawing of a feminine figure with purple eyes standing over what appeared to be the corpses of a human and a moogle, looking a bit eerily similar to Futaba and her moogle even though the drawing was crude. " Along with "This time the figures looking like Futaba and her moogle were standing alive, and were surrounded by other figures. They faced toward the purple-eyed figure, who seemed to be fleeing."
And now, to see what information others might have... ]

[ She is absolutely of the same mind, but given Sylvarie's reaction, it's probably better to put that one on the backburner, for now. ]
That still leaves the Mognet for now, at least.

Of course there is no guarantee the Mognet is secure either.

[Which is to say not very.]
Guess that means it’s also worth it to find out what the natives know about people like us. And I’m not talking about at the Curti Center.

[ That requires knowledge about how the Mognet works though. Another thing to look into. Even if it's only for a few minutes, a brief take over of the system could be beneficial. ]
No, definitely not. I'd probably try to find a way to ditch the Moogle while doing it too.

Unless you meant us when you mentioned "the general populace," in which case, well duh.
[ Neo, meanwhile, is taking great offense at the implications of his trustworthiness being well... less than it is. Despite the fact that she's... kind of wondered that herself, she reaches a hand up and pats him on the head. Perhaps with a bit more force than is strictly necessary, but still. ]

I could just be paranoid.

She's still... juggling things. She doesn't trust the Curti Center or the locals exactly, but she doesn't think they're being outright malicious or manipulative. Yet, at least. Best to just... keep her eyes and ears open. Trust her own judgments. ]
Maybe, but for this stuff we're talking about now, they've already got a couple locals on the Mognet. They wouldn't be hearing anything they didn't already know.
