i have a lot of questions and not a lot of answers and i don't even know where to start looking for them in this place so here it is
who is narayana?
has anyone ever fought a crystal zombie before?
has anyone ever seen crystal pillars destroy the world before?
who on this world responds to "your majesty"?
has anyone figured out why we're here yet and who are the gods of this world?
what happens to people when they die in this world?
i saw some stuff in the dreamwidth and i want answers. i think people who were in crytallis might know since the crazy lady called us "heroes of light."

Yeah, we were. Kinda. I mean it was way off in the distance but I remember seeing it.
[A small hesitation as he eyed up Selphie, frowning a bit.]
But... we didn't end it. I mean, we didn't save the world. It crumbled and we all died.

This conversation has ultimately left her with more questions than answers of her own.]
Sounds like you witnessed one of the ends of the Calamity's cycle on Crystallis to which I don't really know a whole lot. There's someone here who might be able to tell you more though.
[Selphie considered this carefully, figuring that she'd probably have to have a chat with the Marshall as well.]
Have you ever talked to Sparks? I think he'd be able to tell you more than I can. I was really only present for the end of Crystallis' last cycle but I'm pretty sure Sparks was there for the whole thing.
I kinda wanna go talk to him myself but he's not much for small talk. If I had more info to share, I'd gladly give it though. I'm just sorry that I couldn't help you more.

[Come to think of it, Roxas hadn't really reached out to talk to many people at all. He'd reclused and really only talked to a select few people, which thankfully included his housemates. Losing Sora so quickly after getting him back had been hard.]
It's no problem. No one really seems to know much about what's going on. It's just weird to me that this world was connected to another one like it. Like... are displaced people easier to move to another displacement world? I mean, you were there and there's a bunch of other people who were there too that are here now. And I was somewhere kinda like that before, and some other people who were there are also here. So...
[He shook his head as if that would help him sort his thoughts.]
I don't know where I'm going with that. It's just... Like someone broke down the barriers and now we're getting shuffled from world to world.

It's not easy being jostled around from place to place is it? I've done a lot of travel but never to different worlds until recently.
[She saw her friends' worlds for the first time and learned that everybody struggled in ways that were drastically different than her own. She knew for a fact though that all of those people were surrounded by people who cared for and supported them. Had Roxas never known the same simple kindness?]
You never know though, there could be a really great adventure on the horizon for you.
[Selphie offered him a silver lining with a gentle smile on her face.]

It's all I've ever known. Though... the first year of my life I had at least some control over where I went.
[Even if he went where he was told, at least he could travel freely. This place felt at least a little better, since there were more places he could go.]
Maybe. I guess I can hope, huh? [An attempt is made to return the smile, though it fades pretty quickly.]
I should get out of your hair. Thanks for meeting with me.

Sure thing.
[She just wanted to let him know something else though.]
Listen... don't be afraid to message me, okay?
no subject
I... I will. Message you, I mean. Thanks.
[Awkward, and he blushed just a touch at his own word stumble, then waved stiffly before heading away for real this time. Friend get?]
