i have a lot of questions and not a lot of answers and i don't even know where to start looking for them in this place so here it is

who is narayana?

has anyone ever fought a crystal zombie before?

has anyone ever seen crystal pillars destroy the world before?

who on this world responds to "your majesty"?

has anyone figured out why we're here yet and who are the gods of this world?

what happens to people when they die in this world?

i saw some stuff in the dreamwidth and i want answers. i think people who were in crytallis might know since the crazy lady called us "heroes of light."

in my experience its never an act of nature. someone or something is always out there messing things up on purpose for some evil reason. we just have to find out what that reason is.

[ And after about fifteen minutes, directions from the library's entrance to a study room hit Roxas's slate. Hunk's already set up shop there, nervously chomping through some monster jerky. It's not cookies, but it'll have to do. ]

Well, first of all... "Narayana" was another name for the Calamity of the Skies. Just like Kali Shashidhwaja was for the Heroes of Light. [A beat.] And, describe these "crystal zombies"?

[And sure enough, a half hour later Roxas comes strolling in, taking a bit of a roundabout way to get to the study room, but he's there. He knocks on the doorframe, but makes a confused and hesitant face when he sees who is in the room. Honestly, everyone's identity is public, he should have looked. But he didn't, and here they were.]

... Can I come in? Or...

[No need to start this interaction off like their last one.]

[For lack of anything better to do, Roxas nodded along as the information was presented. Basic things, at least, to know words that referred to other things. What was with bad guys and giving themselves other names? Weird.]

Um... rotting people with crystals growing out of random body parts?

[He didn't want to mention that he'd recognized some of them, didn't want to talk about Axel and Riku and Sora as he'd seen them shambling towards him and had decimated them.]

They weren't hard to kill, but there were a lot of them and they appeared out of nowhere.

Sounds like you witnessed one of the ends of the Calamity's cycle on Crystallis to which I don't really know a whole lot. There's someone here who might be able to tell you more though.

[Selphie considered this carefully, figuring that she'd probably have to have a chat with the Marshall as well.]

Have you ever talked to Sparks? I think he'd be able to tell you more than I can. I was really only present for the end of Crystallis' last cycle but I'm pretty sure Sparks was there for the whole thing.

I kinda wanna go talk to him myself but he's not much for small talk. If I had more info to share, I'd gladly give it though. I'm just sorry that I couldn't help you more.

i've had someone else's memories before but this wasn't that. with those i had no control over what i did i was just watching thru someone elses eyes. this i had control.

Narayana was also known as the Calamity from the Skies back on Crystallis. AKA the apocalypse

Crystal zombies showed up there and they are really tough and really mean

I'm not a "majesty" but I do respond to "marshal"

Heroes of Light were what we were called back on Crystallis, because of an old story of people who were brought there to save the place, just like we had been

I don't know why we're here yet, but I am almost 100% certain it has to do with Crystallis and cycles of the world ending and starting over. Even if we were supposed to have stopped all that stuff before we got here.
