i like that idea better than some kind of 9 to 5 job. if that sort of thing even exists here. i'd bet most world have their equivalent of office jobs

i lived on three other worlds before this, if you can believe that. only the last one was kinda like this one. adventuring as a pretty good way to make some side cash. i made up the rest with doing gigs in bars and stuff. i'm a musician. but we also didn't need to pay rent there...

maybe. it only kinda did cuz i took time to learn local tunes and stuff, but here they seem receptive to a lot more.
playing stuff from my home world literally got me into fights. people did NOT like it. fuckin tasteless asshats

nope. one thing i learned on the different worlds i've lived on is that very much the opposite is true. if you want better tips and more gigs, play what they know. it's just hard when you show up brand new, and you don't know shit about what it is they like.
