Hey, everyone! Akamatsu Kaede here! Or.....Kaede Akamatsu if you're not Japanese, I guess. [She laughs at that.] Anyway, I hope everyone's settling in okay. It's pretty scary for a lot of us, being in a new world and all. Still, that's why us guys all have to stick together and work together. If we do that, then we'll all find some way to get home, so chins up!

Anyway, talking of working together, how many of you guys have the Bard Asterisk? I was talking with Monika-san not long ago at the bard's guild and it seems that a lot of bards are pretty protective of their instruments. And while I kinda get that you don't want to damage your instrument, it's kind of a pain having to put it down to get out your knife and start fighting. Also, is it really worth getting hurt for the sake of protecting your instrument? That said, fixing those things can be pretty expensive so it's kind of a dilemma.

So Monika-san came up with a great idea. How about we start an instrument repair funding group where we pool all our gil together? That way, we protect our instruments but save up on cash while doing so! Hmmm.....what do you think, guys?

well to be honest i'm pretty scared.

although when i think about it, i don't think i'm the only one here. i'm sure there are tons of others scared like me. or those who are used to fighting but are scared to be using different powers and stuff. however, we can all work together and help each other fit into our new roles. and when i think about that, it's not so bad. :)

I mean, I've been in tons of fights.

What matters is how you deal with it!

i think i agree with u there. i mean there are a lot of things we have to do in life that we're scared of. i know fighting is probably more than just that. [She's been in a murder game though. She had to deal with that and be terrified at the same time.] maybe some of us will still be scared no matter how many times we fight. but we all have our own goals, right? the more we face our fears and try to overcome them, the closer we get to reaching our goals, right??

Fighting used to scare me, but it's not so bad now.
Monsters are another story.

Oh, and flying used to scare me, too.
I'd get sick.
I think I pretty much got over that.

You just have to figure out how to do stuff even though you're scared.

so u stood up to those fears and u overcame them. or at least to the extent ur not so afraid now. that's great! ^_^ i'm happy for u.

but ur right. we have to work out how to face them and deal with them. but we can all help each other with that. we're not alone. :)

I'm sure the guild has some tips for how to handle a fight.

Or you can just run away from stuff while your friends handle the monsters.

i'm not gonna run away while my friends are in danger but hopefully they give good advice for how to deal with that.
