Hi...

I want to start by taking a moment to apologize. Normally, I'd make an effort to get to know everyone and I wanted to respond to more people on the network, but when we all arrived from the Dream Width, something pretty important to me didn't make it through. Biggs and Wedge managed to find it recently - thanks again by the way. Still, that doesn't excuse my behavior to some people so... I'm sorry about that.

[He nodded his head once and allowed for a beat of silence in which he rubbed the back of his head before recomposing himself]

Anyway, my name's Adrien and I'm from Paris, France on Earth. Until recently, I was homeschooled and I still have a lot to learn when it comes to socializing outside of a fundraiser or a show. Aside from that, I've been tutored in other subjects like Chinese, piano, and fencing, the last I've applied to my asterisk. If you guys ever need a Swordmaster or Ninja, I'm totally up for lending a hand.

Yes, the music of Titan if I'm not mistaken. Primals are dangerous gods who are glutted on prayers and crystals. They are different than the summons of this world even if some might be similar in nature.

Ah... Okay, I was worried for a moment. I know someone who took the Summoner asterisk and if she had to fight them...

Hopefully it does not come down to that. One would need a sturdy party to defeat a primal, or a summon.

Are they really that strong?

It is naught the strength that concerns me, but the tempering. In Eorzea, a summoned being can brainwash their followers into worshipping them, and then they sup on their prayers for strength as they are glutted with the aether within crystals.

The Scions of the Seventh Dawn are one such group that defends our lands from these threats.

I see. They already had so much strength and were greedy for more.

Their hunger is endless from what I know. However, there are some Primals who merely concern themselves with other matters. One such, I've heard is Ramuh, who only is concerned with defending his children's homeland. But he too knows the issue with his existence, and thus challenges to battle.

Huh... Well, I guess in that instance, it's fair in a way.

It is. If only the other gods of Eorzea were as amicable as Ramuh.

Yeah. Did they all just... become that way?

As far as I've known, Primals have different personalities, but they swing towards the extreme. A pity, because some might be actually reasonable if challenged properly.

My dear friend told me of a battle with a Primal named Susano, and he seemed like an amicable sort, as long as you fought him.

It sounds like it. Too bad...

[Adrien considers the name... he's a bit of a weeb so.] Susano? Like the storm deity?

It certainly appeared to be. He was the lord of the revel, which meant storms as well as fighting. My dear friend took him on solo. Or so the rumor goes. I know for a fact his friends were there to help him, by sheer chance.

At one point he grew into a giant and brought his massive sword down. My friend caught it on his own blade while his friends dealt with the attempts to strike them down. He did this twice.

Hm... That's weird. Now that I think about it, a lot of these Eidolons and Primals sound like mythical figures in my world.

Truly? Then there may be similarities across different worlds. It would be a fascinating area of study to be quite honest.

It would. I think people have mentioned other similarities over the network already, but only in regards to Crystallis and the network name.

Crystallis? Tis a name I am unfamiliar with. What sort of similarities abound?

I think Crystallis was another world like this one? And... locations here are named after the Heroes of Light.

How curious. In Eorzea, they called them Warriors of Light, despite not being all of the Warrior Job.

People must have had quite the adventure in that world.

They must have... apparently, they saved the world from someone trying to destroy it, but... now there's this place.

A recreation? Or something more... a curious statement for this world to exist indeed.

It is. I don't understand enough of it, but hopefully, I can talk to someone soon who knows more.

Let us hope so. The more knowledge we have of this world, the better.
