It doesn't take long for it to flutter out of view, glowering all the while. Either the boy wasn't bothered by it or just chose to ignore it as he smiled before slightly frowning.]

Hi...

I want to start by taking a moment to apologize. Normally, I'd make an effort to get to know everyone and I wanted to respond to more people on the network, but when we all arrived from the Dream Width, something pretty important to me didn't make it through. Biggs and Wedge managed to find it recently - thanks again by the way. Still, that doesn't excuse my behavior to some people so... I'm sorry about that.

[He nodded his head once and allowed for a beat of silence in which he rubbed the back of his head before recomposing himself]

Anyway, my name's Adrien and I'm from Paris, France on Earth. Until recently, I was homeschooled and I still have a lot to learn when it comes to socializing outside of a fundraiser or a show. Aside from that, I've been tutored in other subjects like Chinese, piano, and fencing, the last I've applied to my asterisk. If you guys ever need a Swordmaster or Ninja, I'm totally up for lending a hand.

[He recalls his own experience waking up in the airship. He had his clothes on, including his ornament, so he was no where getting ready for bed. But there were some odd things about it.]

I didn't have my wallet or my lighter on me when I woke up. Maybe it takes small things we have on us. Not that 5000 Yen is chump change, but...

I... actually don't take my ring off when I sleep.

[He doesn't either when he showers, but the guy he's talking to probably doesn't need to know that.]

Huh, that seems weird. It doesn't seem like such small things would be an issue if it brought in, you know, us.

Damn, that's some dedication. [He admires his adherence to style.] I always keep my ornaments on the nightstand since they break easy. I can't go out in public with a banged up dollar sign hanging from my neck, it makes me look like lazy thug.
