The council at Yun'Ashelia is full of fuckin' idiots that won't stop arguing with each other. Ignis and I both tried to talk to them. You can imagine how that went when they're to the point of throwing chairs and fists at each other. That's going to be a problem when National Panic Day starts, because people really are going to panic due to lack of leadership, and not be able to defend themselves from any potential monster attacks - not to mention, any potential civilian casualties and general chaos.

Supposedly, though, the Mayor suggested finding some undeniable proof of hope to make them stop arguing. Something pure and rare, something that both sides cannot dispute or mock one bit. Unless it's a Gold Chocobo or that damn Carbuncle, I'm somewhat doubting that there's anything like that out there right now. If anyone has any ideas I might actually consider them.

Oh, and the Curti Center Staff need to be talked out of drinking themselves into quitting. I was only able to convince a few the first two times around by myself. If anyone has that silver-tongue and beaming heart of hope, I'll gladly accept your help.

Carbuncle... I had a thought about that, actually. I think there might be a connection with that business in the forest- someone mentioned that it was nearly impenetrable, and there were runes that were similar to ones we've encountered elsewhere.

It could be nothing, but perhaps there's a connection.

You mean the one involving children getting lost in that forest, and it being much bigger on the inside?

Yeah, I've been reading that messaging thread lately. And it kind of fits the little trickster's profile - at least, the one from my home world. I have no idea if your world has a Carbuncle or not.

Carbuncle, yes. Zodiark is new to me. As is Asura, for that matter. But then, several of the Eidolons I'm familiar with don't seem to have a connection here, either.

Atomos, Fenrir, Ark, and Madeen seem to be entirely absent. I forget, have we seen hide or hair of Odin?
