Some of you may have heard, or this is otherwise very last minute, but tomorrow there is a local festival celebrating the contributions and cultures of Otherworlders. It takes place in Min'To, the scholars truly dedicate themselves in the efforts to learn and preserve as much as they can about the Otherworlders. Though it might not seem that way at times, we've always greatly appreciated them throughout our history.

[And with how things were shaping up, maybe this was where they needed to focus their efforts to address the oncoming Calamity. ]

The celebration doesn't have to be limited to Min'To, I don't know if we were successful in distributing enough pamphlets about regional holidays this month in time. If you're comfortable sharing what you love about your cultures and worlds, I'd be honoured to listen and perhaps pass it on to the scholars. Or we can meet in person another time, it isn't something that should be limited to one day.

There is something else I want to ask, however. [ More like several things, in all honesty, but this would already be pushing boundaries. Breathe, Sylvarie. ]

Has anyone else felt they are searching for something... else, here in Vaikuntha? Something more? Something that has been lost.

(Dante almost has to squint at that. A final fantasy of sorts...a little too definitive for something that seems like the first grand tale, but it could be Vaikuntha's last if it's not careful.)

I actually missed out on Leviathan, believe it or not. Right there in Ka'Pandol and it's the one time I'm out! How is that fair?!

But you still got a point. It's why I make sure none of the new kids go hungry: I had my time being young and reckless. Now it's time to be old and reckless.

Were you forced to evacuate? The trial itself didn’t involve very much fighting—some of them even tried to do a dance to convince her to ally with us. But you did miss one of the Outworlders biting her.

(Nihilism's a strong bitter flavor, but the gourmand can probably make it work.)

Don't even have that as an excuse. I was out taking a bite out of a way more common merrow. Still need to figure out who bit Leviathan so I can shake their hand.

(Look, it's not because Dante doesn't respect the Eidolons, but that takes balls. Gourmands, man.)

I wouldn't worry too much about me though; don't really have the asterisks for that. Can't say I'm not tempted, between the dreams and the offworlders' enthusiasm.

A young man who went by Hunk, he was amongst the first wave to arrive.

He introduced me to cinnamon rolls.（*＾＾*)

These factors together do seem to encourage a change in attitude, doesn't it?

Maybe a little. Important thing is making sure everyone has fun.
