[Voice]
Hey, everyone. I hope you're all in good spirits today.
[The voice coming across on the network is friendly enough. Legault isn’t here to be sleazy...for the most part.]
It’s been a while since we all had that dinner to remember together, hasn't it? I’ve been thinking since then, and I’m sure you all have been as well. You’re a helpful lot like that. Here’s my question for you, then. Do you consider yourself to be a Hero of Light now? Do you feel any more heroic? Or maybe you were a hero back home? I guess I’m curious.
[And then there’s silence for a moment. Unfortunately for someone else, he starts speaking again.]
That reminds me. My roommate—her name is Mòrag. I fear she’s been a little lonely lately, and I hardly ever see her socializing. If you see her, won’t you try to befriend her? You have my gratitude in advance.

But really. It's the only practical thing to do if we want to survive and leave. If we don't kill whoever the summoner is, we'll die with this world.

Would you still fight?

They don't owe the people here anything. They never asked to be here, and this isn't their world. Theoretically, the question is just asking them what they'd do if they knew they themselves would die in the fight. It meant they could hang back, allow the others to face them, and possibly win.
But they had promised to protect the monsters of the Underground, hadn't they? And Papyrus, even if not from their own Underground, was here. So was Frisk, or Shifty, or whatever name the other child might take.
And the world here, from the little they had seen. Well. The humans and non-humans seemed to live...well, with each other. That was more than Chara could say for their own world.]
Yes. I would.
I don't want to die. But maybe I could make a difference.

You're a better person than I am, then. What's your name? I'm Legault. I'm not going to be impressing anyone anytime soon, but the pleasure's all mine.

I'm still getting used to it. It's been a while since I've had to think about fighting.

[The word 'partner,' even jovially, feels a bit too dark for him.]
There's no time like the present to get used to fighting. Those of us who are useless are going to be counting on your from now on, you know?

[There's another pause as Chara considers the last thing Legault says.]
You don't intend to fight? Pretty sure even then you won't be useless. Could find other things to do to help.
