Have any of you ever disappeared before? I think I must have been in the Dream Width. I woke up on an airship.

It looks like it has more than I thought could happen out there. I've gotten some new memories of things back home.

I was there, too. I saw life like it'd been... like I never left. Like time kept moving.

I'm not sure what it was. I've got theories, but... there's no proof it happened. I should have picked up some new scars, though, and I don't have them.

Yeah, she was. The whole bunch of us were -- we were a band of adventurers. Are one? Time feels weird, now.

We call ourselves Vox Machina. It was like I didn't leave. When I was there, I didn't remember being here.

This is still a lot to wrap my head around. I wonder what it all means. Do you think anyone here knows anything?

Vox Machina? What does that mean? I can tell it's a good name, though.

I'm not sure. Biggs and Wedge seemed... well, I don't think they knew.

But they were supportive.

Vox Machina's a funny story. See, we did a lot of good and saved the king. Basically. But, we named ourselves the Super High Intensity Team before that. And, you know.

I don't know what Vox Machina means, but it isn't the SHITs.
