you know after the past few days i think im finally getting that this is all real
that im not dreaming that i woke up in outer space and went to a planet where magic is real
does that make sense?

i guess what im trying to say is i suddenly realize that i was sleeping in a real bed in a real house and ate real food
but at the same time i cant completely accept it yet
and its confusing

i know it sounds pretty dumb but thats how I feel

it might have been old and falling apart but it was a house

because when i first got here I had a feeling this was all a dream and nothing was real
turns out i might have been wrong so whatever
i didn't wake up in my bed in japan for the past few dats

theyre species that live on other planets far from earth
like the magnetic clouds [Magellanic Clouds, Okuyasu]
only youre not from earth huh

okay so you live on a planet and far away theres another planet with intelligent life forms living on them only they dont look like you maybe theyre snakes those are called aliens
in movies some of them invade other planets and kidnap humans for their science experiments
they must have thrown us out of the ship before we were picked up

i never met a demon
i met a guy who said he was an alien but i have mixed feelings on that
we have ghosts though

hey we also take up space did you see how crowded that ship was

and snakes are pretty weird when you think about them

maybe they should have kidnapped less people

the one i lived with was really nice though

i didnt believe him but after all this im doubting myself a bit
i saw two ghosts actually
three if you count that dream i had

if you want to look at it that way then yeah he showed up in my dream and told me to decide if i wanted to follow him or go back home
normal ghosts stick to one place and thats it
and theyre not so bad most of the time

so bird people and snake people can be friends got it

i wanted to because i know i could always trust my big bro but he told me i needed to decide what i wanted to do
instead of following him into this light in the darkness
so i thought about it and decided to stay
my friends needed me

and i think thats what i wanted in my heart
because sometimes my heart tells me good ideas and sometimes real shitty ones but this was a good one
and looking back im glad i didn't follow him
but its still sad getting to see him one last time
i wish i could have said more

[Ah...hm. So the ghost was his brother? A ghost-brother? He doesn't entirely understand, but the mentions of final meetings and darkness reminds him of Shin and everybody back in Utsuwa......which is a memory he hadn't quite expected to get dredged back up from a conversation like this.]

having to leave someone is always sad
it would be nice to see everyone again
i wish i could have said goodbye at least

but thats just life i guess
