[ The feed begins with a young girl with pink hair who appears to seated in a room of some sort. Doesn’t seem like any room, but yes. After a moment, she smiles once she realizes the video began. ]

Hello everyone.

I hope that for those of you who just arrived you're settling in and adapting to things comfortably enough. I hope the experience thus far has not been too traumatizing in any way. I know it's a lot to take in, but I assure you that for those of us here before, we're just as baffled as you are about ... well, everything.

[ There is a pause as she looks off, contemplative and worried. After a moment, her attention falls back to the camera. ]

What I've come to learn recently is that we all seem to be in this together. As in—ah. As in literally. [ Pause. How to talk about this? ] I haven't had a lot of time to think about it but, uhm. Does anyone else recall experiencing some kind of fight with an army of creatures that looked like ... [ her voice lowers as she looks off. ] people I recognized.

[ Frowning. Concerned. Deeply. Seeing that person in that memory was jarring. Yet within moments, she lifts her head to continue. ]

I haven't found any answers to explain what happened. Not yet. However, I figured I should ask here and see if anyone had any similar experiences? Maybe talk a bit about it to understand? It was the only thing I vividly remember [ —there was another, but. ] and I feel there was a reason behind seeing it. I'm not even sure if it was even real?

[ Brows furrowed and eyes downward, she takes a moment to collect her thoughts before lifting her head again with a smile renewed. Positive time! ]

Ah! Forgive me! I didn't introduce myself. For those of you new, my name is Euphemia! I'm a White Mage and Nurse at the Yun'Ashia hospital. I'm also going to be starting school very soon there, too. It’s been a goal of mine to go back and finish my studies! Being a student and getting to go to classes again—I’m excited! Is there anyone else going to school? Maybe we can be study friends! Perhaps we can be study buddies? I will admit that I sometimes need a little help here and there, so please, let me know if you're interested!

As for the rest of you, if you need me for any reason, just reach. Or visit the hospital! Or call! I can do either of those things. I'm here to help.

[ Her expression turns a bit soft as she stares intensely at the camera. Solemn. A pause. ]

I hope everyone stays well. And ... take care of yourself, okay? Wherever you are.

[ A smile, albeit lacking the same mirth as her earlier one. With that, the video feed ends. ]

Well. I was actually there twice so I guess I'll have to tell you about both.

The first time, I was forced to awaken near one of the Crystals of Crystallis in a research facility but we fought our way out of there. The second time I woke up, I woke up in a hospital after being in crystal stasis for about a year.

[Selphie glances off screen briefly before nodding.]

From what Jaelyn has told me, everything on Crystallis was fine but she doesn't know what happened after she came to Vaikuntha. So your guess is about as good as mine and my Moogle's.

.... a year?

[ Surprise. Awe? Shock, maybe. ]

This is all so strange. I'm not sure what to think of this place anymore.

[boomchucka]

[Selphie nods in confirmation of the time she'd spent in stasis. There's one thing that the brunette knows for a fact though:]

This isn't Crystallis, Euphy.

[And it's something that Selphie's grateful for as she smiles sadly.]

We lost a lot of good people along the way.

[euphemia]

... How many more were lost? What did you lose them to? [ A long pause. ] Was it by a woman?

[boomchucka]

[Selphie tries to cover the screen on the slate briefly but the pained look on her face is all too obvious. She comes back a few minutes later.]

Yes and no. We were all put into stasis for several years and...

[Deep breath, Selphie. Don't cry because you still miss your friends.]

I don't know what happened to them but all I can guess is that they never woke up like the rest of us did.

[Another breath as a Moogle floats into view and takes the slate from her partner.]

Let me explain what Selphie can't. One was killed in action and four sacrificed themselves to save Crystallis for the good of everyone who remained. The battle was difficult but they all eventually succeeded, Selphie included.

It's okay Jaelyn, I can handle this. Wait a sec...

[Why does this sound so familiar to a conversation she'd had with Roxas? It's proving her suspicions even more and is going to prompt her to reach out to the other heroes from Crystallis.

Selphie looks at Euphy, slightly alarmed at the last question. Please don't be who she's thinking of...]

Woman...?

[euphemia]

[ She spent so much time focusing on the story that when it finally came down to her to speak, Euphemia was somewhat caught off guard. Woman. Right... ]

OH. I... well, I was just wondering if ... the person was a woman.

[boomchucka]

[Selphie shook her head before giving Euphy a thoughtful look.]

Well, I can't say for certain. I wasn't there.

[euphemia]

[ Relief. Maybe. ]

Forgive me, I'm still trying to understand everything here.

[boomchucka]

I'm still trying to understand too so I really get where you're coming from with that.

I wish we all knew more than we do, honestly.
