[ The feed flickers on to show a young girl wearing a long, eloquent gown seated in what appears to be the front yard of the home she was assigned. By appearances alone, one can assume quite a bit about who or what she might have been in her homeworld. There is a bit of murmuring off camera by the likes of her Mog who appears to be guiding her with using the device. ]

—starting. Ah! Wonderful! And there we are. Now you are connected, my lady. Please, go right ahead.

[ Euphemia smiled off camera to the Moogle and mumbled a quiet thank you, then turned her attention back to the screen. ]

Hello everyone! I, ah ... I just wanted to introduce myself properly since I believe most of us are in a similar predicament. It's been a very ... a very strange day, [ and her expression twists a little because that word doesn't even seem right. It will do for now. ] but I like to hope that I can end it on a reasonably good note.

I hope everyone has settled in well or going to. I intend to do so myself. I wanted to thank everyone that I had the opportunity to meet today. Your company, whether brief or not, was welcomed and one I will hold dear. I hope we can meet again soon while we are here.

As for the rest, perhaps we might get acquainted using this, ah... this—what is it called again? [ She turns to look off camera to where her Moogle is apparently floating ]

Well, my home is ... [ A giant mess. ] It's very lovely. [ Right? ]

That's good. What's your favorite place back home?

[ This was a far easier question. It even makes her smile. ]

My favorite area so far is Area 11.

Neat. What's Area 11 like?

[ Where to even begin. Overrun by Britannian control conquering their land and claiming it theirs. Yet the country is rebelling their control and led by a man named Zero. People trying to reclaim their country and rights. Areas destroyed from their control. Yes, these were all lovely points to address. ]

Oh, it's a country? For a second I thought it was like Area 51.

Area 51? Has Paris conquered an area, as well?

Oh no, nothing like that. Area 51 is apparently a restricted area in America that's supposed to have alien life from space and UFOs.

[euphemia]

America? [ A very long pause. She's heard of it, but. ] I think I remember reading something about that in my history studies.

[modelcivilian]

Where I'm from, it's hard not to hear about it sometimes. They're involved in just about everything; even dad hires a few new designers from there occasionally.

[euphemia]

I don't believe America exists in our world. It did but ... [ Britannia won? ]

[modelcivilian]

Really? Wow. So... what is in your world?

[euphemia]

[ There's a long awkward pause on her end. ]

Well, we ah... [ Can't mention the war. Don't mention the war. ] Your Paris? What's it like in your world?

[modelcivilian]

[... There's probably a lot going on in her world she doesn't want to disclose. How would they even talk about anything at this rate?]

... It's great. It's pretty much the fashion capital. I'd say the same for pastries too, but I'm more biased on that opinion.

[euphemia]

A fashion capital. And pastries. Are you a fashion expert there?

I'm not... My dad is though and I help model his brand sometimes.

[euphemia]

Are you a model? [ This makes her both laugh and smile. ] You must live a very exciting life at home.

[modelcivilian]

Yeah, it can be exciting.

[Not for the reasons she might think.]

[ Modeling sure sounds more exciting than her life! ]

My brother, Clovis, was a fashion designer himself. [ Ow that stings. Remembering him. Still! ] He had a wonderful eye for design.

[He was about to say, he knew someone too, but paused. She said 'was'.... no, he won't ask right now.]

... I have a friend at school who aspires to be a designer, too. She's really great. I bet her and your brother would get along.

I'm sure of it!

[ This is still happy to talk about. ]

Mm. I do have another brother here, however. He loves strategy games, however. He's a master chess player, I think. Along with some other brothers of mine.

Oh, you do? Hm... the only person I can think of that would like Chess would be my classmate, Max. But, if he likes puzzles, I met a skeleton named Papyrus who loves making them.

I'm not much of a chess player, either. I actually prefer—... [ Wait, what? ] Skeleton?
