[Tidus is out by the water on the Curti Center island, as he usually is. There's a sunglasses-wearing moogle, Zunne, sunning on the beach behind him. But for anyone who knows Tidus, it might seem more odd that his eyes, usually bright blue, are now red.]

Hey guys, me again. I hope everybody's doing okay after that trip---and if you've run into any chocobo eaters, rest up. They're really tough!

Anyway, I've just been thinking. Does something about this place seem off to anyone else? I don't really know how to explain it, I know it sounds crazy, but I can't help but wonder why we're really here. It's just...I see these little things everywhere that are familiar, but they aren't? And I have to wonder if something big's lurking out there that we should know about?

Maybe I'm just homesick. Or hungry, that could be it.

[Distantly, from the Moogle's direction: 'How astute.' Tidus mumbles and ducks his head.]

All right, he's right. That's enough. If anybody's still up for blitz practice, I'll see you tomorrow!

[Nanamo looks herself over and then touches her hair.] AH. I am not wearing my crown.

My eyes are red? How curious. It does not look red to me. If anything...

[she peers a little.] Are your eyes a different color?

[He blinks, troubled, then shifts over to glance at his reflection in the water.]

Nope, still blue, right?

It might be a trick of the light then. This is curious, I wonder if there is something wrong with the iMog?

[That's odd. He frowns and turns to look over his shoulder.]

"Hey, Zunne, could you check this out for me? Our eyes aren't showing right on this thing."

'That's really what you're worried about? Come on, then. Let's see.'

[The Moogle floats over and pokes at it, flipping a few settings, then shrugs.]

'I'm sure it's just a passing glitch. Calm down.'

"But why...ugh, all right then."

[Tidus takes control again.]

I guess we should see if anything else is off?

We should. Papashan?

Your Grace needs me? Oh, let's see... [Papashan checks on his end.]

Just a glitch, it will right itself later.

[She nods and turns to Tidus.]

I suppose we don't need to worry about it for now. Red eyes or not, it does not affect anything thus far.

Perhaps, we should check around town then to see if anything is odd?

Yeah, I think it's worth a look. Every once in a while, there's something going on that's just creepy.

I must agree on that. Shall we meet up and look around for a while?

Sure, where do you want to go?

Around town, perhaps to the various districts before returning to our residences. If something is amiss, a wide search will yield fruit.

All right. And speaking of fruit, I'll make sure I pack food. All that walking makes me pretty hungry.

A good idea. This is a large city after all, plenty of travel time.
