01. AIRSHIPS!! [Text]

I didn't know we were gonna get the chance to get our own airships! I know I missed being able to wake up and see nothing but sky and clouds out the window. Made drying the laundry a lot easier, too.

But that kinda got me thinking- you couldn't get very far without an airship back where I came from, but a lot of the people I've talked to have said they've never seen anything like them before! I know a few people here have had SOME sort of flying machine back in their world, though. If yours did too, I gotta know- what were they like?

For that matter, how many other pilots do we HAVE here, anyway?

HAH! I knew it. [He didn't.] You can't throw a flying disc and not hit an accomplished adventurer around here.

So after the monster died, did you start getting the good stuff like airships and mecha back up and running?

ehhh it was a work in progress, even by the time i left. big baddie's been gone for two years and we're still behind. catching up to a thousand years will do that, i guess.

anyways. you sound fun! didja apply for employment workin' with airships here?

Nah. I gotta play my OWN game of catch-up here-- gotta get my license first. First they wouldn't let me near the Magitek armor, now this. I've been piloting mecha and airships for YEARS!!

Maybe I'll just play Blitzball instead. It's not as cool as Flying Disc but it'll do.

Blitzball is fun! you must know Tidus, huh? I played it for my first time recently. I admiiiiit I can't exactly be a blitz CHAMP, but I've got quite the arm on me ;)

He's kind of the master at Blitz, but don't tell him I said so ;) and........yeah. holding your breath for 5 mins while playing a game ain't exactly a piece of cake. takes a lot of stamina and even more practice! pretty hard, but not impossible

woahhhhhh, no way! that reminds me of a dressphere from back home. it gave me the ability to fly, stop time, and shoot lasers outta my eyes! (...sorta)
