Glad that's all over. I really didn't need another reason to hate Mondays, but there it is.

So it's time for me to come clean: I didn't spend all my money on potions and chemist stuff. On the off chance this was the time we took care of team Ramaamut, I took the liberty of marinating and slow cooking a few summer favorites, including the shawarma. We're gonna have us a well earned vacation, boys and girls! But we could do better than the restaurant, right? I think so. Instead, we're booking the hot springs in Myste Aura, get ourselves a nice, early take of summer. Sound good? Sounds good.


Also completely unrelated, but Bass is insisting I tell everyone the mortgage I took on Dante Must Fry a few days ago. Pretty worthwhile investment, right? No one died, except for when Phoenix gave us a mulligan. Turns out this zora's not gonna be the only thing red here in the restaurant!

Bass really didn't like that joke.

So in case anyone knows about a little freelance work somewhere, I'd appreciate a point in the right direction.

(Soon enough, there's a knock on house B-06's door with one zora and one delivery. It already smells delicious.)

[It takes a few stubborn minutes to make her way to the front door, but she pulls it off in the end with an equally stubborn moogle in tow. As Selphie open the door, she greets the Zora with a cheery grin. Just ignore the pajamas and everything will be golden.

The smell coming from the delivery bag sets the young woman's mouth to watering as her moogle settles on her head and gives Dante a withering look of disapproval.]

That was fast! Thanks for the delivery.

And don't mind Jaelyn. A little bit of fresh air never hurt anybody.

I'd say the same for Bass, but he's okaying it as long as we get paid.

(He gives Dante shit all the time, but he's a damn good bookkeeper. The moogle knows his stuff.)

I included a few chocolate covered kupo nuts in there, so you'll get your share of it, too.

[The mere mention of kupo nuts gets Jaelyn's attention briefly before she shakes her fluffy head. She will be swayed by treats when her partner needs some R&R.

In the meanwhile, Selphie accepts the packaged goodies and grins.]

Hmmmm... I don't think she's gonna fall for it. She's a tough nut, you see.

They're still there if she wants them. And I hate to say it, your moogle's right: a little rest'll do you good. Figured some home style cooking might help with that: corn and potato chowder, chicken friend steak with collard greens and peach cobbler.

[Selphie's lower lip juts out into a pout before she shakes her head in defeat. She knows that they're both right and arguing against two people who are saying the same thing would just be an exercise in futility.

Regardless, she gives the Zora a sunny smile.]

It sounds great and we're gonna come to compromise about this eventually.
