Text 📚 A question
To: All Members of the Heroes of Light Linkshell.
From: Minimus Ambus of Ambustus Minor
Subject: On where to move outside of the Curti Center
[Yes, he typed that all out in the body of the message. Personalized E-mails have these fields while group discussions don't, and it's upsetting.]
For those that have found homes outside of those provided to us:
You may have noticed my presence since December. I am Minimus Ambus, the Cybertronian* with white, green, and black markings. As nearly all of the other outworlders** are more experienced in the manners of Vaikunthan than I, I have a request.
I have been living in the free housing sector, but my employment opportunities are limited in the immediate area. There are several cities that appeal in terms of job opportunities and living locations (Hisan City, Tark Varentain, Safer Osu, Arito, Kiddilion and Yun'Ashia in particular)**** , but I would prefer to hear first-hand accounts in the moving process.
How safe would you describe your city to be? For those in law enforcement (as that is my intended field of employment): how accurate are the pamphlets and online resources in describing the exams? I may move to a city without a law officer who was not born on this planet if it helps with forming a network, or I may join an existing law group centered on one of the major cities.
In addition, are there nearby sources of scrap metal that I may use? I do not require to consume the same substances that organics do, which makes my house-searching query atypical.
Please respond with your insights or links to resources.
Sincerely,
Minimus Ambus
* You may have referred to me as a "robot", but this is considered to be somewhat offensive to sentient techno-based species. If that is the case, I understand that it came from a place of ignorance and not a place of malice. I will overlook these oversights, but going forward, I expect that those who have been present to read this message will adjust their behavior accordingly.
** I am unsure as to the official term used to described the people pulled in from the Dream Width. I have heard "otherworlder", "newcomers", and "those who came from Dream Width"*** et al. I prefer that we pick one term to use in formal communications among ourselves.
*** This is a translation from the local dialect that I cannot recall in detail. Normally, I have a program built into my suit that translates spoken language into the nearest Cybertronian equivalent, but it does not work in this universe. Thankfully, we all appear to be speaking a common tongue.
**** I hear that the available homes in Sparks Golsaucia and Von Oktavia are quite small. I would prefer to live someplace with a large storage area. While this may make me sound reliant on outside forces, I and hoping to regain my armor from the Dream Width or find a Magitek equivalent, and I wish to abstain from accidental property damage.

Refrain from adding your corrections, Ambus, you need to learn to control your impulses.]
Thank you. Nakagawa seems like a lovely place to visit, but it might not suit my needs in the long term.

This spits in the face of grammar and the rules of communication.
He hits the asterisk.]
*It's a bit quiet.
Take caution in which spelling you use.

"Its" without the apostrophe is the possessive form of it. This refers to something that belongs to an object or concept that uses the pronoun "it".
If you were to use one of the spellings before a noun, the meaning of the phrase would be muddled. "It is [noun]" is a description. "Its [noun]" ascertains an attribute to the subject, direct object, or indirect object that is referred as "it".
Context may help, but not everyone has mastery of the written word that allows them to understand the intention behind one's words.

You are welcome. I'm sorry that you had urgent matters which prioritized your attention. I can sympathized.
If you are willing to go over more grammatical lessons, you have my permission to contact me to set up meetings. There is much more to discuss.

[Organic worlds were sadly behind techno-based worlds, considering how short their lifespans are.]
You may visit me in person at House B-10. When I move, I will notify the Linkshell.
