To follow yesterday's post in regards to the Temples,
Although the Illusionist Guild of Cloud City has never heard of the Temple of Zodiark, par-se, they did confirm that Cloud City used to be an island and that there were ruins of an Eidolon Temple present.
These ruins were apparently used as a basis for the flight mechanisms that allows the current city to float as it does. Therefore, should there be anything pertinent in regards to those ruins that might be worth investigating, it might well be part of the flight mechanisms, themselves.
[This information sharing wasn't really all that hard after all. There is no point whatsoever in Sephiroth pursuing this avenue of investigation on his own and he knows it; call it swallowing a little of that pride of his, perhaps]

Of course if you're likewise interested, you're welcome to come along. I'm hoping to convince Papyrus to attend as well, for reasons.
[Text]
Indeed I would be interested; there has to be some reason why a City would need to be levitated perpetually.

Or know someone who does. My friend list is small.
[Text]
I'd hazard that mine is no better. We might try to recruit though; Papyrus probably knows a few.

If you have any personality preferences or people you would prefer to avoid, however, now is a good time to say so. The nice part about making one's own party is the interview process and being able to say 'no'.
[Text]
Foolish whims should always be a trait to avoid though, at the expense of destroying that which we might discover.

Papyrus is expectedly enthusiastic about the idea of this venture. It should be interesting.

Re: [Text]
Zodiark has a connection to the stars, don't they?
[Text]
Some seem to think so and there isn't any reason to discard the possibility. Unlike most of the other Eidolons we know about, Zodiark isn't one which is familiar to me.

Do let me know what they say.

It is what it is.

nobody except us can be bothered to look into something
seems to be a running theme.

But on the other hand, if information were too easy to come by, would anyone be so keen to investigate further?
I'm starting to wonder if there might be more going on here.

do you think were being strung along like playthings??

Indeed. Though by someone or thing specific on Vaikuntha itself, I don't yet know enough to form much of an informed judgment outside of my own intuition.
