I have been far too busy to keep up with the local holidays and now Mojito tells me I'm going to commit a massive social faux pas if I turn up for whatever you people call Midwinter without gifts.

I'm far too busy with preparations to be bothered trying to think my way through this.

We don't have to get one of those, specifically. We could decorate it ourselves however we like.

I suppose it is a strange tradition if you aren't used to it. But it's surprisingly similar to Weihnachten from my world.

I've never actually celebrated before, myself. I knew about it, of course, I just never did it.

Well, anyway, I was thinking about what I might want -- and I never wanted anything that could be purchased before, really, so it was strange. But I was thinking -- I'd like to spend the day with you. Maybe we could go to one of the cities and try a new cafe or something.

That sounds perfectly acceptable to me. I can't imagine people will want to spend the holiday in rehearsals and it's not as though I've got any blood relations to celebrate with

none I haven't attempted murder on, anyway
