I have been far too busy to keep up with the local holidays and now Mojito tells me I'm going to commit a massive social faux pas if I turn up for whatever you people call Midwinter without gifts.

I'm far too busy with preparations to be bothered trying to think my way through this.

One or two people
Mojito refuses to tell me who is actually buying anything or what sort of budget is appropriate so I'm having to err on the side of caution here I don't actually know what I'm doing the only gift-giving rituals I'm familiar with is passive-agressive one-upmanship among nobility and I highly doubt a contest to determine who is capable of offering the most inconvenient present without actually being rude would be appreciated

okay, yeah first off doing

is deffo a bad idea. second, here's some tips: go for something sentimental first. spirit of christmas/starlight/whatever and all of that. think of something that's important between the two of you embodies your relationship yadda yadda yadda

but that's advanced gift giving so only do that if you know for sure you won't f screw it up. failing that just get something useful that they know they need. job gear works as a last resort, just get some awesome equipment if you're out of ideas. the apocalypse is coming in just a few months, i'm pretty sure everyone would appreciate some sweet new gear.
