[The video opens on a shot of four, very large mechanical lions. Three of them - Red, Yellow and Black - all have large, circular barriers up. After a moment of radio silence, Pidge speaks up.]
They're gone. Shiro. Keith. Lance. I don't know when it happened. But the lions were like this when I woke up this morning. Their names are grayed out as well.
[There's a soft sound and the video wobbles a little.]
Futaba's not here, either. I haven't seen her since... Well, it's been a little while? But her name is grayed out too.
[That last sentence trails off, because she's not sure what to say. Everyone knows what it means. Everyone knows what happens when people aren't there anymore. She just wasn't expecting it to happen to her friends.]
I hate this. But I figured... I should tell people.
[It goes on for another couple of seconds, and then cuts off there.]

That's unfortunate to hear, but thank you for relaying the news. ...Were you close to them?

[She knows it's probably hard to hear, so she's trying to stay calm. Or as calm as she can.]
I didn't know Futaba as well as everyone else, but I'd like to think we were becoming close.
[Or as close as she generally allowed people to get, anyway.]
