[ The screen blips on to Hunk, reclined across a couch. Balmogra the moogle's pom-pom occasionally drifts into the top of the frame, and Hunk's eyes keep glancing towards it. As he starts talking, he's entirely oblivious to the fact that his voice is high-pitched and squeaky. ]

Hey, so with other people asking about things like our stories, our worlds, and our jobs, I realized that we don't actually know a lot about what we can all do! Like... I learned that some people have never been grocery shopping before! Or some can't cook! Or some people don't know how technology here works. Since we're all stuck here, we might as well try to help each other out, right? So what are some things you know or want to know?

Me, I know about cooking and engineering and mechanics. But I don't know anything about magic. Or how to defend yourself from a monster that's up close and trying to eat you. Or how to use a giant fork in a fight? Or why they use forks here to begin with.

[ He pauses for a moment, looking almost uncomfortable, and then- ]

And if you're embarrassed to say something you can't do, you can always send it to me and I'll mention it for you!

I assume the giant fork would be used similar to a trident, and most likely they use the fork to fit the theme. I mean, if I'm going to think of a vore mage, I would think of a fork as a staff.

I've already told a few people, but back home I'm an idol. Um...it's a little difficult to explain. I suppose you could say I'm a professional celebrity.

I have experience singing and dancing, and my producer—Ritsuko-san—has been promoting me as an actress lately. I've done other kinds of work as well. I hope I can put my skills to use here for everyone.

As for what I'd like to know, I suppose that's...hmm...maybe I'd like to learn how to solve a Rubik's cube? Ah, or it'd be nice if I could learn French. Wouldn't that be chic?

[ Hunk looks confused as he begins to speak, but then he cracks a smile of his own as he registers Okuyasu's voice. ]

Do what with the video? Do you mean Balmogra's little puffball? -Wait, did you find some helium?

[ The chipmunk-muppet voice is still going strong. ]

The faces are easy- if you poke around in the keyboard then you can find some weird symbols, and you just make cute faces!

[ And then he makes a silly face that he knows isn't too cute. Thought that counts. ]

Dinner went really well! A lot of hungry stomachs wandered by, too. [ And he's figured it out! He's solved the mystery. ]

Any rate, I'm good with my hands - fightin' with them, that is. I'm rubbish with a blade. Could do some thaumaturgy as well, but that was about the extent of my magic. Hope to turn that around while we're here.

[ Hunk finds his expression souring as this weird-haired guy just shoots down everything he mentioned. Get someone else to do your cooking and shopping? Fine. And if he doesn't have any skills, why isn't he trying to learn things?!

Hunk restrains an exasperated sigh as he moves on to the weaponry part of Hunk's questions. Use a fork like a trident? Like a pointy staff? It could work, but... Wait. ]

What's a vore mage?

[ Hunk does a double-take at Yue's words. Sound like a bird? He cups his hands over his mouth for a moment, eyes wide. He's so caught up in paying attention to how he sounded that he doesn't notice Yue's own squeaky voice. ]

Wh-what do you mean, like a bird? What do bird voices sound like?

[ He's mousey? Nervous? He gasps slightly, unaware of how he was coming off, but he keeps his cool as Azusa talks about her. He doesn't want to get even mousier, after all! But he takes mental notes that she's an idol, a professional celebrity, a singer, dancer, actress... Clearly very talented!

But then she asks her questions and Hunk's eyes go wide, because... out of everything she could want to learn, that's what she asks for? ]

I can probably help you solve a Rubik's cube, if you can find one. [ He laughs, and now he's smiling again. That's such a simple thing! ] But I don't think anyone here knows French.

[Though his comment made it seem like he didn't care for learning, it was actually quite the opposite. He simply had never been in a situation where he felt a need to ask for help from someone to teach him. If he didn't know something he would find a book, and if it needed something more specialized he would find a person to do it instead. But then, when everying felt like it simply fell into place, it might have simply never occured to him to activly persu things he didnt know.

As for the question he went straight into answering it without a second thought. Another person might have felt embarrassed or unsure, but answering questions with answers was simply natural. What was shame anyway?]

Gourmand, since it's a job about eating things to steal their magic like some sort of vampire. That sort of Eating is a popular fetish. I'll never understand it, but if you look it up on the internet there's a lot.

I've used the barrel of a gun to block weapons before.
I just can't wrap my mind around how to make a fork work.
Spears make sense, but the forks are just so SMALL that just having the one pokey end is... weird.

I'm still not sure if a chef's knife would work any better.
Would it work the same as a dagger?
I have a friend who uses a dagger.
He made it look easy.

I'm bad with a blade. Really bad. I'm used to big guns, and just kind of throwing my weight around, instead of throwing punches. If I'm gonna be up close with monsters, I might want to know how to fight without a weapon.

[ Hunk looks around and laughs nervously. ]

It's a fetish about eating, usually about eating the subject of your desires. I can understand how such things can be mixed together. Eating and consumption are not so different from desire and obsession. After all eating ones enemies and loved ones to make them part of you is not uncommon in various cultures around the world. Though generally not something practiced in the modern era.

Though I know nothing about psychology so there may be no link at all and some people just have really bad taste in their fantasies.

From what I've been hearing, "Magic" is similar to my world's "Ether". You don't have anything like that? From what you described of your Lions, I would have thought many on your team would be strong Ether users.
