My name is Futaba Sakura and some of you may have seen the notes that I made before about Vaikuntha and stuff we're looking into or finding out about while here. After the past couple months, we've gotten... a lot of new stuff. And we have the whole Bahamut thing to worry about to.

So I rewrote my notes, from scratch. They're actually meant to be read now too. I'm attaching them here.

Just so we're clear though I'm a gathers-info person, not a tells-people-what-to-do person. I'm looking into some stuff too on my own but I'm just one person. If you guys see something you want to start investigating, you don't need my permission or anything. Just do it, and share what you find. Or if somebody wants to take charge of trying to organize others, go on ahead.

If you have any questions though I can... try to answer them? Others can too, if they know something.

I'm not entirely sure if this will help, but even though I've never been to this Crystallis place or know much about anything else, I HAVE traveled to other dimensions, other worlds. I don't think this "Dream Width" might be connected to just this one world.

At least, that's how I see it.

Probably redundant, but all of these things can't be coincidence, right? The killerofwords, whoever's holding Sarah, and the summoner have to be connected somehow. If we can find one, in person, maybe the rest can unravel.

Anyway, I didn't know about how a summoner has to stay in place or else the summoning is disrupted. But do you think that's what's taking so long to summon Bahamut? Maybe they are moving around?

I mean, I don't disagree? It's pretty likely, to be honest. But we don't have much proof yet beyond a lot of "she"s and "this is all too much to be a coincidence." You're probably right, though.

[ So they're kind of at that point where they've thrown a piece of hopefully well-done spaghetti at a wall and are waiting to see if it'll stay there or start falling off. ]

As for Bahamut, I don't now. The whole not-moving thing though is something one of our summoners, Uendo, got from Ramuh. So I think they might've told us if the whole moving around thing was happening? But I can't say for sure, except that some of the delay is probably coming from the whole "Bahamut's merged with the Calamity" thing.

It makes me think though that this... may not be the first time this has happened. For the other Eidolons to have any idea what to expect.

The Empress and the people in her staff seemed to know a lot about Bahamut. I thought that meant this goddess of death summoned him before, or at least tried to.

Or do you think Bahamut was the calamity?

I feel like I'm just rambling now.

Well, there was one time when the killerofworlds person hacked Hunk's tablet when he tried to contact them on Comic Sans day. Disabled his spam filters then flooded him so badly he had to take it to one of the stores to get repaired. Another reason to be careful with them.

As for stealing? Yeah. Once. By the Moogles of Light.

To keep you and everyone else up to date, I am currently looking into the terrorist attacks that took place in the Empire ten years ago. Depending on the nature of the attacks and their timing, I believe it is well within the realm of possibility that they could have been part of some sort of ritual or, more accurately perhaps, were used to kick-start the arrival of the Heroes of Light. Biggs and Wedge were rescued from the Dream Width ten years ago as well; I am working on cross-referencing the exact dates, but it would seem from what I know so far that they indeed were recovered either during, or in the direct aftermath of these attacks. Once that information is confirmed, I intend to launch a more thorough investigation. If this sort of pursuit falls into your area of expertise, please do get in touch.

To expand, in Crystallis the Crystal of Fire was manipulated to explode on more than one occasion. I am not privy to the specifics of the process, but these explosions, these devastating releases of energy, were directly responsible for manipulating the Heroes' appearance in Crystallis, throughout the world's space and time. It is my hope that in pursuing this line of inquiry, we might shed light on the current situation, including the perpetrator's motives and perhaps if our appearance here is more directly attached to the issue of the Summoning than we know currently.

That... would actually be a huge lead if you're right. We haven't been able to really make much headway on figuring out the whole how and why we're here thing.

So far as investigations go, I might know somebody you could talk to if you end up being right. Her name's Naoto Shirogane - she's a detective from my world, a really good one. She was the one who led the investigation and capture of that one killer at the Lake of Ira back in July.
