Just a question - anyone else noticed that all the monsters have grown more aggressive than normal lately? Pretty sure that they're not supposed to be this eager to tear people apart.

If any Natives know if this is a regular occurrence, feel free to let the rest of us know.

[He pauses as he adjusts the bandages around one arm.]

Depends upon where you go, really. If it's another town or city via airship, you'll be fine. At least there doesn't seem to be anything like Zus flying around. If it's out in the field, though, it wouldn't hurt to have back-up nearby.

What do you specialize in?

Astrology. I was a professor in the art back at Luna Nova.

Which means I've naturally decided to take up Astrologian as my first 'job' here. Black Mage is my second, since, well. Witch and all.

Is Astrology as 'accurate' as they claim to be, though? No offense, but I've had my doubts about it in the past.

Astrology isn't a science. It doesn't deal in absolute facts. It is, instead, a guide. Every divination made can have different interpretations.

Well, at least you're upfront about its drawbacks. Just haven't seen it bearing out any proof of its effects on my life yet.

I prefer the honest approach. Even some other witches aren't that fond of it, calling it an imprecise artform.

But for me, I've been fascinated by the stars ever since I was little. So it just felt like a good fit for me to teach others about them.
