[A few minutes later, all members of the Linkshell receive a video message. Ganeshan stands in front of the camera, eyes bloodshot. He looks like he hasn’t slept in a few weeks, and it might be through sheer enthusiasm that he’s still standing. Behind him is Jessie, who gestures in the direction of the camera.]
It’s recording for you. Just let me know when you’re done, and then you’ve got to go lay down for a while, okay?
YES, YES, I’LL REST ONCE I’VE SENT THE MESSAGE.
[He pauses, as if he’s zoning out, then gives his headfins a shake and refocuses on the camera.]
RIGHT, THE MESSAGE. WE’VE DONE IT! THEY SAID IT COULDN’T BE DONE, BUT CYDE KARATER AND I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT!! WE’RE GOING TO MAKE NEW ASTERISKS USING THE POWERS AND SKILLS YOU HAD ON YOUR HOME WORLDS!!!
[As he delivers this life-changing news, he goes through a variety of victory poses- peace sign, fist pump, finishing with a sparking grin/thumbs up combo. He pauses for dramatic effect.]
THAT’S NOT TO SAY THERE ISN’T STILL SOME FINAL DETAILS TO WORK OUT, BUT WE’RE SO CLOSE. WE’LL NEED TO HARVEST SPECIAL CRYSTALS TO FORM THE ASTERISK THEMSELVES, AND OF COURSE, WE WILL NEED YOU TO PROVIDE THE SKILLS THEMSELVES. BUT WITH YOUR HELP, WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO IMPLEMENT OUR THEORIES AND MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE!
