[ Huh. Here is an unusual thing. Futaba is not usually one to use voice (or anything besides text) on the network. Maybe she wants to reassure other people with her voice and to hear theirs? Maybe it has something to do with the fact that her voice is still a bit muzzy with sleep. Maybe text requires more coordination than she has right now.

Either way, she's got an important post from her sort-of-brother to follow up on. ]

So.

[ There's a long, pregnant pause. ]

How many other memes are you all familiar with? Scientific curiosity.

Few varieties of firearm, and no shortage of artillery, mostly. The Garleans've got far an' away more technology than Eorzea proper; they use Magitek te make up for bein' unable te use Aether. There're plenty've ruins of an old civilization that had even the Garleans beat, but we hardly understand 'em still.

( when ren eventually makes his way to her room, it's just in time for this bad news. bowing his head, there's a gentle clap down on futaba's shoulder, the sounds of which might even be picked up by the mic. following that, there's a morose— )

Have to admit, a lot of them gave it a good try.

[ The clap makes her jump and yelp a bit (stupid ninja asterisk, she swears he's quieter nowadays even if he doesn't have it equipped). And so she retaliates... by turning on the video and taking a picture. Your shame is now caught on camera, Ren, and is visible to Keith as well. As is her slightly flustered face but hey. Sacrifices must be made.

But then she leans back towards him, starting to grin. ]

We should see if any of the stuff Marinette's been baking goes well with curry.

[ Also Ren, you're acting like you probably wouldn't have happily made curry for the whole team anyway, bet or no........ ]

Let's see... [There's the sound of someone going down a set of stairs as he switches to video himself; revealing what he looks like in just a tank top and jeans (out of frame) and a large, dark blue wolf behind him. [He flips the device around so they can see the absolute plethora of baked goods - most of it in containers, but... so many on plates. They need more.

Maybe he'll just find a large pastry box and bring enough for all of them with each for the inevitable meet up in the deep blue sea.]

Right, we'll talk more about that later. Let's include discussion of Ganeshan's discoveries to that list. [He glances at Keith. They both are spotting the line of nothing gets shared past this point with the public. Shiro turns to fully face the screen.]
