Just in case anyone was concerned... Futaba Sakura is, well— sleeping. I know that she's made quite a few friendships since arriving here in Vaikuntha, on top of all the information she's been archiving for all of us otherworlders, so... I don't think she would want any of you to worry if you've noticed her absence over the past few days.
It's sort of like— needing to recharge her batteries. It might last days or weeks depending on how much rest she needs, but this is just the norm. She wanted to make sure that anyone who might be anxious about disappearances knew that she was still here and not— gone, since it seems like that's happened to us again recently with some familiar faces.
If there's any message you'd like to pass a long for when she wakes up, feel free to leave it with me. If we haven't met yet, call me Ren.
Alternatively, you know... press "F" to pay respects.

[Her favorite games are fighting games, okay. But she can absolutely make a gremlin of herself if he doesn't catch on soon.]
We should make it a point to get together. Here or there works.
[Though it's occurred to her that she doesn't actually know where there is. Hmm.]

praise be to cthulhu. )
I think so, too.
Then as soon as she wakes up, let's work something out.
Ah— no one on your team is afraid of water, are they? Or being submerged several hundred feet below it?
no subject
That sounds good.
Maybe we could save time and work it out ahead of time.
[As far as that question went, she really had no idea. Huh.]
I don't think so.
Are you trying to tell me you live in a pineapple under the sea?

( holy shit he was not prepared to get played like this. )
My pants aren't square.
Well, they have squares, but that's just the plaid...
Also it's— more of a dome, really.

[It did make for an amusing mental image, though.]
Plaid is valid, though.
[Not that she's in any sort of position to be giving fashion advice.]
But in all seriousness, that sounds like a really cool place to live.

It is cool— more so in the winter I suspect but until then...
As long as the walls don't give away like they did a few months ago we should be just fine!

[Cool in the winter. Snort.]
Touche.
Do the walls give way often?
[Because that sounds like a fun challenge to deal with!]

Maybe it depends on if the year of our lord 20XX is retro to you?
( somewhere in a distant land, the fourth wall is crumbling... )
There was only that one time.
So far.
But we were informed it was a fluke, so there's that.

So tell me. Where does one sign up to be a retro video game protagonist?
[It couldn't be much worse than most of the things she'd already done, right? RIP fourth wall...]
One time is totally a fluke.
Any more than that, though...
