When Baiken speaks, her words are pretty badly slurred. She's been at it for a bit.-

[ Sure, he might also be talking about the drinking, but... ] If something goes wrong, we all gotta get out okay. [ You, him, and everyone who's not as good in a fight. It's worse than a serial killer, but he still trusts her in a pinch. ]

-"I need you at your best" definitely sounded like something Shiro would say. Even through the haze of the sake in her mind, she couldn't help feel a small measure of... pride, was it? hearing Hunk take that tone.-

My sword will be ready, at any moment. I may not like this situation, but I've never been caught off guard. I'm not about to start now. That's my promise to you.

Just be careful with your first impressions. [ He thinks back to how they met, and how most people wouldn't have reacted quite as well. They can't have that in a potentially evil Empire. ]
