01. AIRSHIPS!! [Text]

I didn't know we were gonna get the chance to get our own airships! I know I missed being able to wake up and see nothing but sky and clouds out the window. Made drying the laundry a lot easier, too.

But that kinda got me thinking- you couldn't get very far without an airship back where I came from, but a lot of the people I've talked to have said they've never seen anything like them before! I know a few people here have had SOME sort of flying machine back in their world, though. If yours did too, I gotta know- what were they like?

For that matter, how many other pilots do we HAVE here, anyway?

Is it like skeet shooting?

Hey, I saved the world and *I* didn't get any action figures! Maybe I'll see if I can get the Arena Ship staff to at least sell a shirt with my face on it...

No, there's no shooting involved; it's a popular sport back in my world. There's a small, lightweight flying disc and you have to catch it in your teeth. It's intense.

[ He was typing his response to the first part of Red's message, but then his buddy mentioned more about Flying Disc. His buddy who's a dog. Who just admitted to having a sport where they catch small flying discs with their teeth. So Hunk's thumb hit Send mid-message, as a result of his brain kind of shutting down.

There's about a minute of pause, and while Red is wholly unaware, Hunk is sitting on his side of the conversation, alternating between wheezing laughter and excited squealing. ]

Red, I love your world. (￣ω￣;)
We... actually have a game kinda like that back home!

I love it to; hopefully I'll be back there before TOO long.

[But he's on a totally different train of thought now that flying disc is on the table.]

I've played it a few times.
Our teeth aren't good for gripping things, so we just use our hands.

[ Then there's a few moments of just "...typing..." because Hunk is busy trying to contain his excitement at watching a large dog-humanoid playing frisbee like a dog dog. It's just so silly. ]

Dogs totally use their teeth, though.
They don't have thumbs.

Dogs back on Earth don't.
They also stand on four legs, so they HAVE to use their teeth.
They still have fun though. (*^▽^*)

Of course not! The 'dogs' in my world walk on two legs, like me! And, yes, they all talk too, and I don't get why everyone thinks THAT'S so weird either!

Are they just completely messed up in everyone else's world or something??

Our dogs don't talk.
I'd love it if they did, though!
