01. AIRSHIPS!! [Text]

I didn't know we were gonna get the chance to get our own airships! I know I missed being able to wake up and see nothing but sky and clouds out the window. Made drying the laundry a lot easier, too.

But that kinda got me thinking- you couldn't get very far without an airship back where I came from, but a lot of the people I've talked to have said they've never seen anything like them before! I know a few people here have had SOME sort of flying machine back in their world, though. If yours did too, I gotta know- what were they like?

For that matter, how many other pilots do we HAVE here, anyway?

I'm familiar with airships. We have them in my world. But I have never piloted one. I do know how knightmare frames work, however. Does that count?

Knightmare frames? Never heard of them. What are those?

Knightmare Frames are sort of like airships in my world, except they're designed to fit a single person. A gigantic armored knight suit where one can use a weapon, sword, or even a gun and can fly. They're primarily used to protect our country.

And you said they defend your country? Does that mean you've got a whole army of them? Because that sounds AMAZING.

Yes, we do. They seem standard in the military. You sound very familiar with them. Do you own a Knightmare MECHA?

Yup! DAHAK-AZI03. It doesn't have a sword or gun or anything like that, but it CAN fold its arms into wings. They managed to pull it out of the Dream Width earlier this month!

Not really a 'combat' machine right now, though. It needs some repairs.

Every time someone takes a look at me for the first time they say something like 'You're a dog?!' and I figured I'd just get it over with this time.
