maybe all the time travel split everything up into a bunch of timelines
i think i saw something like that in a video game or something
so all the previous times you dated her still exist but like
in separate versions of the world
which you left behind and can't access anymore
unless you make some kind of big science thing or something but pro tip: don't do that
