okay so maybe the woman's friends tell her about her new boyfriend and he does romantic things for her anyway because he wants her to be happy even though he knows they cant be together
and its really tragic

but it also ends on this poetic note where she forgets him and he thinks about his lost love
he holds her hand and says goodbye as she gets onto a train

he'll never forget her

so its like Titanic only they dont die
