[He frowns.] It tried to remove our darkness, but we were still tied to it through Narayana. The planet deemed us still a threat because of it, and crystallized those who hadn't confronted it.
And those who were crystallized either woke up themselves, or as pawns of the dark. [He motions to his neck.] Some of these were from a version of Sora who was controlled by his Calamity Self. Also broke my right arm and a few ribs fending him off until he crystallized again. Because of it, I was one of the first to volunteer.
