Her hands, where they rest on the ledger, are encased in felt flippers sewn onto the blue, loose-fitting body suit that masks what form she has beneath. The hood is pulled back, and the large googly eyes glued on top jingle when she moves her head.]

We have some good news, at last. Thanks to the recent influx of international funding, we've managed to find the budget to extend the leases on the research grounds housing.

[A polite cough from off-camera, and a man's voice, recognizable as Bigg's, can be faintly heard saying "meaning...?"]

Meaning that the Curti Center housing is now available to those on the Heroes of Light Linkshell as permanent residences, even for those not employed by the research center. I don't know why you'd commute so far to a job in another city but-

[Purposefully loud off-screeen throat clearing.

Claire squints.] It will one less thing to stress about. If you so desire to move back or if you're currently employed at the center and wish to live with the outworlders, report to my office and I'll begin the approval process and adjust your legal information accordingly.

[She pinches the edge of a page through the fabric of the flippers, but it's too slick and the paper returns to its initial position. Another squint at the camera.]
