That's a very diplomatic way of handling things. However, I should also caution the desire to pursue three goals simultaneously. That may even go a long way to explain some of the difficulties you are currently facing with as you juggle so many different things.
If this is going to be an issue where our grievances are going to go to the upper administration anyway, it would seem that we would be more efficient discussing it with them in the first place?
I, for one, do not enjoy playing these kind of games. Especially when my friend's lives are going to be affected by bureaucracy.
